First, this isn't a complaint against the weapon itself. I'm actually okay with them (and believe that the nerf was unnecessary). But the one thing about tripmines that drives me positively up the wall is that there's no way of differentiating friendly mines from those thrown by enemies. Anyone else feel there should be a way to identify friendly mines?

First off: nobody agrees the nerf was necessary. Second: friendly tripmines have a green light on top. Enemy tripmines have a red light. Green means go. Red means also go, because it probably isn't going to kill you.

That would nerf them again, the best part of a trip mine now is everyone assumes friendly.
