Straight up, RIP strikers
Strikers are screwed. And seeing the nerf kids get their way, over and over again saddens me. I only play as a hunter and will never stray, but taking a sub class and neutering it is terrible. And will never fill me with any joy. I don't think firebolts burn times were op, that was kinda the point. Minus one for recovery for blinkers is uncalled for. Should've left trip mines alone. Shade step and smoke grenades were fine too. And the sun breakers super had to be ridiculous considering how crappy their neutral was (was/is, no offense).
So let's look at shoulder charge. Seems like you gotta wind it up and aim. High risk high reward, going through with it puts the striker in a pretty bad spot. Why nerf it? Wtf is gonna get nerfed after that?
Man if these forums didn't exist I think destiny would be such a different game today.
We can sit here and talk about balance all day and I'll here you out. But each sub class has its strengths and weaknesses. Why put everyone on such level ground? 1) it's impossible and if you do manage to get it close some how 2) what would we be left with?
Our exotic weapons aren't even exotic anymore because of the vast majority who cry nerf.
Sorry for the rant, I just can't muster the words that can describe how much I hate all of u that cry nerf. You guys ruin so much for so many people. Shame on you.
Bungie can we just vote on all buffs and nerfs from now on please?

I think everything is fine, I don't agree with all buffs and nerfs, but I definitely think the game needs balancing and shifting. The thing that makes me like this game a lot is that the Meta is always changing and its fun learning new strats, combos, and using different guns with the Metas

Bungie is slowly and systematically removing/nerfing anything that the players could have fun with. Sure people can adapt, but what if someone likes a feature, weapon type/sub-type, and class/subclass. Bungie should focusing on building upon the game and bringing everything in to balance so people can use what they want when they want and all that would matter is if someone is skilled or not. Honestly that was why I quit playing, this game was just no longer fun for me and, as much as I hate to say it, it doesn't look like Rise of Iron is offering anything stellar either.....maybe in the coming months that might change, but for now I am done with Destiny.

7 RepliesWhat the hell has happened to this community in Year 2. Holy S*it guys. These forums have become a place of whiners and nerf posts and wah wah wah. Like is this what its coming down too. Wah hunters got nerfed, I main a hunter and have since day 1, and ive just adapted to the changes. I don't come on here and cry and say well " now titans need there nerf time, its only fair". Ive said it once and im sure it won't be the last time. ITS A VIDEO GAME. Its meant to be fun and take our minds off or our lives for a little bit. You guys are single handedly ruining the game with your nerf posts, and the sad part is is your too dumb to realize your doing it. Just shut up, play the game, and be happy or move on. This community is becoming embarrassing. This is not towards the OP, but I used your post to rant.

I think i enjoyed the idea of this game more then the game itself.. its really sad to see what it has become. I watched an interview with some devs and I kept hearing how they STILL after all the BS want to "slow" ttk and make engagements longer... Like WHAT THE ACTUAL -blam!-!! bump from me my man title should be RIP destiny

They don't seem to be interested in the leave things alone they are not broken threads, I run 2 hunters and 1 titan it is quite easy to blink clear of a titan which had also helped me learn when best to use shoulder charge for best effect I love to get hate mail from warlock classes mainly for shoulder charging them after there ridiculously long range melee abilities

2 RepliesI see you OP. Titan Strikers are screwed AT ALL. Titans are BY FAR the least used class in PVP and Bungie strives for balance. There is no way, shape nor form that they will make the best subclass of the least played class, BY FAR, unusable. Any threats made are childish and I personally think are going to come back and bite Hunters and Warlocks hard.

They are not going to lose any significant portion of their player base if they don't follow the whingeing brats suggestions. 10 people making a post looks like a lot but it's still just 10 in the pool of 1 million+ :)

I honestly don't get why they don't just post the following: Average kills per match, by match type, for: All primaries All specials All heavies All charged melees All uncharged melees All grenade types All supers Then break each down as a fraction of the average total kills (by class) I think that would be really interesting. But wtf do I know?

It's not going to stop till this game become 6v6 hard scoping at each other. They literally have messed with EVERY movement ability in the game. It's becoming more and more slow paced

For anyone who cries nerf whenever they get killed by a good gun or ability- get one yourself scrub. For those who cry nerf when they get outplayed- git gud scrub. Your ruining this games pvp not bungie, because most of the time you're the ones whining at bungie about them ruining the game after you told them to ruin it if your going to do this just go play cod with the other 12 year olds.
