Edited by JealousOrc: 6/27/2016 11:54:34 PMAHHHHH!!! I'VE HEARD IT BEFORE!!!!! A HEART!?
how many guesses?
-
Edited by autoson2000: 6/27/2016 11:54:23 PMNay, not a heart. 2 guesses remaining.
-
WHY WOULD I EVEN SAY THAT!? A HEART ISN'T A BOX!!! IS IT A CARDBOARD BOX!?
technically not wrong
-
Nay, not a cardboard box. That had a lid of sorts! My hint is that it always contains something golden. 1 guess remaining.
-
Not really a lid but whatever. Hmm, always contains something golden... anymore hints?
-
One more hint: Riddles in the Dark, beneath the misty mountains.
-
Ahhhhhhh, this is a Lord of the Rings thing. Right?
-
This particular riddle's answer may be found in the hobbit, yes.
-
Ahhhhhhh. I watched the movies and read some of the book. I just gotta remember that scene with Golem. I'm kind of tempted to say a book(always has knowledge so that could be considered golden to some) but I don't remember them saying that...
-
Not a book... You probably don't eat that for breakfast.
-
Another hint? Sweet. I'm now tempted to say a fish because Golem ate fish but a fish isn't a box lol.
-
Not fish. What's breakfast and golden?
-
Breakfast and golden... EGGS!!!
-
The scroll crumbles to dust in your hands, replaced by an intricate golden egg. It has a clasp on the side, and hinges.
-
Edited by JealousOrc: 6/28/2016 12:17:25 AMI guess I was right?
what's a clasp
-
A clasp is like a little lock that can be flipped open.
-
i open the egg
-
A blinding white light flashes out, and you feel a strong urge to reach inside. Before you can, a hand reaches out and snaps the egg shut. "I wouldn't do that quite yet," a voice says. There in front of you is a man in a tattered grey cloak, with two pistol holsters at his hips. "The game is a dangerous one, I would be wary, if you are to continue."
-
Nah it's all good. Wait, who are you?
-
The man, ignoring your question, glares. "How did you get a copy of the scroll?" He snarls.
-
It was floating in the sky and I hit it with a spoon and it fell down.
-
The man's eyes widen. "The last scroll..." He murmurs. Sticking out a hand, he introduces himself as Ghost. "Son," he says, "you have gotten yourself into quite the amount of trouble here. I have a feeling you'll need my help."
-
K. So, do I jump in the egg or...
-
"This is where it gets complicated. There is a corporation, a malevolent one, after the fortune at the end. They are willing to kill for it. I've been searching for that last scroll. No one they've sent into the eggs have come back. Look kid, if you're going into that egg, I'm coming with you."
-
Ok. i jump in
