"I don't think so. So far, the only ones to ever live in the storm are the Pirates. Rumors say the storm was created by mages trying to wipe a country off the face of the earth. I don't think it lets anyone through." Suddenly the ship shakes violently. You hear rain pelting down. "We've entered the storm."

the sudden shaking of the boat make leyla jump a little. She ponders if she should tell him what she but she dicides that now its a good time but she can sense him staring at her bluish green scales "So whats the is there anything you need my help with"she asks curiously
-
"I don't-" he is cut off as shouts of alarm come from the decks above. He scrambles out the cabin and yells "stay inside!"

Edited by VengefulSiren: 7/6/2016 3:15:41 AMbefore she can say anything the man is gone. Leyla is on high alert ready to attack anything that comes through that door as she grabs her staff sealing the door from those that would do her ill will when she taps the end of it on the floor. Then she casts a spell protection over the ship and her crew. Now there much left she can do but wait now as she listens to the choas above her.

Lightning flares momentarily, illuminating the stormy darkness outside the ship. Ominous clouds swirl everywhere, and wind screams and howls. Rain pours down everywhere, and the door to the cabin in ripped open by the gale. Hailstones the size of baseballs slam into the ship periodically in waves, cracking again. The crew shouts in alarm again, as lightning lights up the sky once again. There is a sudden roaring, and suddenly, a whole half of the cabin you are in gone, leaving you open to the storm beyond. Rain lashes inside, and with another flash, you can see what had frightened the crew so much. Slicing up through the downpour and clouds rides another ship. Darker and slimmer the craft is menacing to the core. Time seems to stop, and lightning flares again. You can't make out much but one figure, standing on the prow of the ship. The rain and wind swirling, he locks eyes with you, his wild mane of hair and cracked mask betraying nothing of his expression. Then time restarts, and everything begins to come apart.

when thing starts falling apart it doesn't give her choice much but transform into dark blue dragon with tiny silver scales dotting her body. She roars in shock as some the floor beneath gives way as opens her massive wings before taking scan the area for the Capitan the ships floor starts to creak and give some more. She sees him unconscious lying on the floor the ship she scoops him up with clawed hand and flies up while taking care not to drop him
-
The captain of the other ship tips his head. Almost an acknowledgment of a challenge. Wind buffets your wings, as you try and gain headway in the storm. The other ship begins to give chase, and you see a large catapult like machine turn to aim at you.
-
leyla is surprisingly agile as she use the winds to her advantage as quickly flies upward then turns spraying the deck up ship with ice that really sharp puncturing several holes in the mans ship one them hitting only inches from where the man is standing almost if its warning him to back down. Leyla gains speed again not staying in a straight flight pattern.
-
*leyla thinks about the riddle for a couple minutes before answering* "Hmm... is it darkness? Leyla asks
-
Not darkness, comes the echoing reply.
-
"Anorak?"
-
Yes, that is what's written on it.
-
I toss a rock at the scroll "Get the hell down here. Paper doesn't fly."
-
It slowly floats down to land in your hands. Unfurling, it describes a contest with a glorious prize at the end. Then a riddle appears. "Box without hinges key or lid, yet golden treasure inside is hid. What am I?"
-
"Well, to this, a great many answers are present. For example, an egg meets these criteria, yet if I hollow out a cube, pour in molten gold, then seal the cube, I would have yet another object to fit such description. Wrapping a bar of gold thoroughly in tinfoil would also do the trick."
-
Although the paper has no face, you get the impression of a smile. The words "an egg it is" appear, and the scroll burns away, to be replaced by a golden filigreed egg, with hinges, and a clasp holding it closed.
-
I gently grasp the egg, and open it slightly, holding it an arm's length away.
-
A swirling blue portal glows inside, asking without words for you to enter and accept the challenge. You hear the whirl of approaching helicopter blades approaching, and a dread settles around you. Those coming are not friends.
-
I step inside the portal, but not before drawing my shortsword.
-
You enter a completely blank room, and here a riddle echo around the walls, "It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. It lies behind stars and under hills, And empty holes it fills. It comes first and follows after, Ends life, kills laughter. What am I?"
-
I think for a while, then finally speak. "Only darkness it could be."
-
One wall falls away into darkness, and you hear the rushing of waves though the gaping hole.
-
I walk over into the dark. "Down and down we go, further through the rabbit's hole."
-
There is a rushing sensation, then a crash as you slam into a tumultuous ocean. Lightning flares in the sky, and massive waves crash all around you. You see a ship reminiscent of those the Vikings used cutting through the waves.
-
I freeze a 5 by 7 foot rectangular panel of the ocean, about 5 inches thick. I then climb on top of it, in order to keep myself afloat.
