Ed was a Warlock like no other. He fought with the strength of a Titan, and the cleverness of a Hunter. Other Warlocks chose to study things such as death, ancient tomes, obscure lore, and other secrets. But Ed was different. He studied raw superiority in combat. When Vanguard called upon the Guardians to hunt the Ahamkara, Ed was one of the first to answer the call. Scores of the beasts fell before his prowess. Eventually, he tracked down the powerful Ahamkara, Olan. Ed and Olan battled upon the top of Maat Mons for several weeks. From the distance, it appeared as though an intense storm was occurring atop the mountain. When the smoke cleared, Ed dropped to his knees, unable to stand due to exhaustion, and gazed upon the equally battered corpse of Olan. After a few hours, the newly dubbed Extinct Ed regained his strength, collected himself and wandered into the horizon, looking for the next hunt.
