The Monastery was empty, he had gone off to his duties, including overseeing the inventory. Their stocks were very good, their equipment all accounted for. Ten Predator Tanks, eight dreadnoughts, four land raiders, ten land speeders, three whirlwind rhinos and three Imperial Knights.

[b]Alexis decides to go help them with the vehicles, having nothing better to do.[/b]

There wasn't much to do with the vehicle... she wasn't a techmarine. Today seemed to be a day off for her, since her schedule had been cleared after her operation.

[b]Alexis ends up wandering the camp, having nothing to do.[/b]

She is eventually called over to the Chapel-barracks for... something.

[b]Alexis walks over, wondering what this was about[/b]

Once she enters, she finds herself pleasantly surprised by a surprise party, organized by Valerius and the members of her tactical squad.

[b]Alexis gasps and smiles under her helmet.[/b] "Awww..... Thank you...."

[i]"Congratulations, Sister. Welcome to the Imperial Panthers."[/i] Her Sargeant says, putting a hand on her shoulder.

[b]She nods and tries to take her helmet off, struggling before it finally comes off.[/b]

Valerius walks to her, putting his hand on her shoulder. He had his helmet on. "Congratulations, Lexie. I'm very proud of you."

"Thank you Valerius...." [b]She softly smiles at him.[/b]

"Now that you are a full fledged marine however, you will need to pick your class. Assault, Tactical or Devastator."

"Hmmmm.... I don't see myself as being on the offensive or carrying a huge gun.... So, Tactical?"

"Well then, it's settled. The balanced type it is."

[b]Alexis nods and smiles at them.[/b] "So what happens next?"

"Well, today is still your day off. Tomorrow, you begin your patrol routine."

There was cake, beverages, it was quite a nice party.

[b]Alexis grabs herself a piece of cake along with a soda before starting to eat and drink.[/b]

They share stories, laughs, experiences, and the sargeant even offered Alexis to take a ride on a land speeder.

[b]Alexis declines the offer, fine with just talking with everyone.[/b]

The celebration went on for quite some time, before the rest of her squad had to go on their assigned patrols, leaving her alone with Valerius.

[b]Alexis smiles at Valerius and finishes her third piece of cake.[/b] "And then there was two...."

"Two lovers indeed..." He takes off his helmet, sitting next to her.
