Why? Shotguns aren't a issue if anything hit section needs to be more consistent

On the other hand, snipe kills from medium/close range aren't as valid. Snipers are inherently a long range weapon, and right now they have no drawbacks at medium or close range.

I have a problem with them being equally effective at all ranges. Destiny is a game of gun niches and snipers don't have a niche.
