He, of course, returned the smile.
"Little tired, otherwise absolutely great though.. How are you?"
English
-
"Great. Mir'ika has told me much about you, you know... good things."
-
"Good to hear that you're doing well... But, what kind of things?" He asked, curious.
-
"All sorts. Your story, your tastes, all about you." She smiles.
-
"Basic stuff I guess." He replies with a smile.
-
"Basically, yes. Just so we can know you a little better." Mir'ika speaks up from the kitchen. "Almost ready!"
-
"You could always ask me things if you wanna know more. I wouldn't mind answering them." He perks up when Miri calls out; he was still rather tired. Half asleep.
-
"Well, we don't have much left to ask. Other than that you take care of our sister." Mir'ika prepares plates for all four of them.
-
"Isn't that a granted? Honestly now.." He says with a smile, his eyes wandering over to Miri.
-
"Aaaand ready!" She picks up the four plates, placing them down on the table, and they all sit. Miri sits next to him of course, and Kor'El sits in front of him. For breakfast, bacon, sausages and potatoes.
-
Lucas grins as he looks at the food on his plate; it strongly reminded him of home, of his family, and dinner with the people he loved. It was actually rather selfish and rude, how he had left without another word. And just because he was bored, but he didn't feel regretful; he wouldn't have met several really amazing people if he hadn't done it, after all. Then, when he realized he was just staring at his food in silence, and had been for a while, blushed a little, and whispered a sorry.
-
They had begun eating. "Mmm! Miri, this is amazing! You've outdone yourself again, you know." Amy says, cheerfully. "Thanks, sis! I do try my best!" They eat their breakfast, with only Kor'El not eating.
-
Lucas throws a curious glance at Kor'El, but doesn't say anything, instead starting to eat as well.
-
They all eat their breakfast in relative quiet, until Kor'El breaks the ice. "So, Abby, when will you introduce us to your girlfriend?" The necron girl speaks up shyly, mostly due to Lucas' presence. "She uh... she's pretty shy... and very self conscious."
-
Lucas keeps quiet, making a mental note of the Necron girl's shyness, though he doesn't pay it much mind; some people are just shy after all, him included.
-
"Ah! She doesn't have to feel shy at all. After all, she's part of the family now. Just like you, Lucas."
-
He looks up at Kor'El, and slowly nods, replying with his signature kind and soft tone, "And I'm happy to be a part of it!" Before returning to his food, swiftly finishing it. "Thanks for the delicious meal, Miri!"
-
"Thanks, love! I made it with just that. Love." She smiles, clearing the table once everyone was done.
-
He grins and nods, glancing over the merry little family. Well, little... five people wasn't that little.
-
"So, Lucas, my daughter tells me you have a mechanized suit, correct?"
-
"Ayup! Built it myself, if I may add! It falls short compared to the things you people have though."
-
"Ah, yes... very little comes close to Tau engineering in the universe. I would very much like if you would show me your... mech."
-
"I realized that, yes. Very impressive machinery you guys have. Still don't know how it works though... And I would be pleased to show you my... baby, of sorts."
-
"Very well, then. Let us get going." Kor'El stood up from the table. "I will only borrow him for a short moment." He says, looking at Mir'ika.
-
Lucas stands up as well, giving Miri a grateful nod. "I'll be back soon.."
-
With Lucas, Kor'El returned to the warehouse, descended the stairs and walked up to Lucas' mech. "This is it, huh?"
