That's like saying spreading seasoning evenly across a steak is the same as getting rid of all the seasoning on a steak.
When you spread it out, instead of it tasting good in one spot, It tastes good across the whole got damn cut.
You make the whole steak taste good and any cut from the steak is good. Everyone has the same flavor explode in their mouth, instead of BIG FAT JERRY eating the seasoning clump on his piece.
