Why people think striker is op all of a sudden
I main hunter and people all over the forums are complaining how op strikers are. I find this ironic because strikers are relatively the same since launch. Guardians (especially my fellow hunters) are bitching about how op shoulder charge and FoH, only because they have saltyness left over from the last nerf. So on behalf of all hunters; I apologize if we bitch more often than usual. And we can't help it that something in our brain called the frontal bitch lobe is working over time.

3 RepliesDisclaimer - I'm not salty With that being said, I can see exactly why Strikers are about to get nerfed... Because retards who jumped ship to Titans run around and only shoulder charge. I used to get killed by a shoulder 1 out of every 5 matches. Now it's 1 to 5 times a match. Which is stupid because it's not a very effective method of getting kills. It's not OP, it's not going to land 90% of people as the top scorer. But it is being overused. If I've learned one thing about Bungie it's that they hate when shit is overused. So go ahead stupid kids - charge away. When it gets nerfed it'll be 100% due to people using it 30+ times a match.

Ive never said shoulder charge is op, but i have noticed several players who seem to only know how to charge, it can be countered, but its annoying. The fact its annoying ill get to. As a gunslinger main, ive never used tripmines and the plays that were made against me were just good plays. Tripmines, for the most part, were easy to avoid. Throwing knives were never a ohk option and if the incendiary blade killed "weaker" targets then....., so what? Wouldnt a grenade kill them? Im confused on that. Does "weaker target" mean someone who is full health, but running low armor? It doesnt really matter though, Im ok with the knife nerf, just dont understand it. And finally I get to the nightstalker shade step. Nightstalkers are definitely a frustrating subclass to deal with, but Ive killed several of those annoying little shade steppers. But the community complained about how annoying shade step was so it and twilight garrison got a nerf. They were nefted because some players were annoyed? Huh, kinda sounds like people being annoyed by shoulder charge. So, by the logic that lead to the nerf of hunters, so too the titan should be nerfed.

I main hunter and agree on the fact they should have left hunters I think ppl don't understand the subclasses like at all. A hunter has terrible armour and is a flimsy girl that faints when u breath on him but makes up for it with good offensive skills thus creating a balance. While titans are the opposite boosting great armour but not very good skills except lightning nades and charge again creating a balance in itself. Overall just nurf it so we can all get on with our destiny lives I'm not complaining but I am 1 of those buff everything else kind of guy instead of nerfing but hey just my opinion and u know what they say about opinions....

3 RepliesI main a striker titan and can tell you that they are literally the best class in the game and are somewhat overpowered right now. And I'm pretty sure they ninja buffed lightning nades bc they're way too good now than ever before.

5 RepliesStop pretending you speak for any one other than yourself. Strikers need a nerf because they're the one subclass that hasn't been nerfed. Period. They've been buffed a couple times actually. Literally everything else has been nerfed or changed. Strikers have it coming and it will happen we all know it's true

I'm a hunter, and I don't complain about any other subclasses(I'm being truthful here alright?) but to counter striker Titans, I do my best to keep my distance from them. This goes for all Titan subclasses too.

Shoulder charge is only OP because the only cool down is a short sprint and is not affected by suppression grenades, lightning grenades personally annoy me but idk if they're necessarily OP. Honestly though the juggernaut shield is ass, that is only thing I find actually OP about strikers, granted I don't exactly have a solution but this is all just opinion

Shoulder charge was never really an issue, i main a gunslinger. Its just harder to kill them now that throwing knives got nerfed. You need to do slightly more damage to them and react on sight quicker if you want to live when getting pushed by a sholder charge as a gunslinger at least. Its slightly more annoying but i can manage. Getting killed from behind is always just a "shit" moment. I could do without the mindless tracking overkill it has though.

15 Replies-blam!- that don't speak for all hunters. Shoulder charge doesn't take up a melee charge, takes no skill to aim, one hit kills, doesn't require a critical shot to do so. Throwing knife took a melee charge, took precision, and a critical hit didn't even kill 99 percent of the time. Yet throwing knife gets nerfed. Don't even get me started on lightning nades vs tripmines. The salt is valid

Played both Hunter and Titan and I always do better with the Hunter. Usually get a nice amount of kills with GG and trip mine. Striker really isn't op as you can see it charging at you from a mile away. Only way you don't see it is if it's flanked you and if you've been flanked you're going to die no matter the class. I get killed often mid animation with shoulder charge and I kill people trying to shoulder charge me. Not that hard to counter at all.

1 ReplyI don't think they're OP, but it would be nice if bungie toned down the damage deduction on their super so there can be more chances of a trade and decrease the blast radius of lightning grenades, and also they need to fix juggernaut cause that shit can tank a golden gun.
