Why people think striker is op all of a sudden
I main hunter and people all over the forums are complaining how op strikers are. I find this ironic because strikers are relatively the same since launch. Guardians (especially my fellow hunters) are bitching about how op shoulder charge and FoH, only because they have saltyness left over from the last nerf. So on behalf of all hunters; I apologize if we bitch more often than usual. And we can't help it that something in our brain called the frontal bitch lobe is working over time.

Not that it justifies anything, but people have been crying about shoulder charge for over a year. People cry about anything that can kill them. Over all though as things keep getting nerfed, anything that has not been nerfed is the new overpowered. Nerfherders are never happy.

I use titan locks and hunters..all are fun to me except bubble titan. I am average all around, pve and pvp.. I get owned sometimes but it's because I wasn't being intelligent in a certain situation. I love trials but I notice if my 1.1kd matches up against a 2+kd no matter the class I get owned. Those same classes get dominated by me the very next round against another 1.0kd. If you play intelligent and "get good" every class can be op. Striker titan is not the problem.. it's salty noobs

25 RepliesTheir radius for FoH feels like it increased a bit. Shoulder charge is super broken right now. Strikers just run in circles not shooting just trying to SC then when u jump it tracks u in to the air. Ive said for quite awhile lightning grenades damage per pulse needs to be dialed down slightly. Not saying nerf them like arc bolt, or firebolts. Dont make them useless.

4 RepliesI see all these posts commenting about how Striker is relatively the same since launch and we shouldn't be complaining about it. Yes, it is almost the same (though it did get a buff back around late fall/early winter) since launch, but look at all the other subclasses that got nerfed... On a sliding scale, something that stays the same is better than something that gets worse. I've accepted Fist of Panic... Err Havoc for what it is. Its a one off super. The massive amount of armor it gains is aggravating, I've stuck people with grenades only to have them pop FoH and survive, as an example. But I've accepted that its going to kill me if it gets activated in my vicinity. My only complaint about Striker is that I think shoulder charge should consume a melee charge. Yours in Destiny, A Hunter who occasionally masquerades as a Titan or Warlock.

because all of a sudden other subclasses got nerfed. when another sub class gets nerfed the balance is tipped.

People think the Striker subclass is op now, because it is the only class that have not got a nerf recently (sure defender have not got a nerf but almost nobody uses them so it does not matter).

They are not OP.... I enjoy all classes and the only thing I ever thought came close to being OP was original Sunbreaker Titans (more so the armor level at the time) and Firebolts with ToF and VF, but even then it was not impossible to play against or anything.... people need to just stop complaining about every little thing because they do not know how to handle engagements and learn to adapt.

Can't block off entrances with em cuz they don't do shit for damage when you walk through em now. That's my only complaint with nerfs. Striker Titans are just fine with me. But life goes on. Lol

This isn't a result of the class being op, it's just the fact every other class was nerfed which made striker the best option
