"Interesting... not too shabby, for a first ride. I'm quite impressed..."
She grins.

"Thanks, I did my best... And I'm actually rather good with engineering and making things." He looks over to Miri's mech. "It falls pale in comparison to yours though, because damm is that thing impressive."
-
"Yeah!" She smiles brightly, looking at it. "It's relatively new, too. My dad got it only recently. We modified it a lot, though."
-
He smiles back just as brightly, showing his white teeth as he glances at the mech's weapons. "It's real good-looking, too - like a certain somebody.." He says, smirking. "And those weapons... Holy crap, how do they work? What kind of weapons are they? I sure as hell have never seen something like 'em, and they have me kinda scared if I'm honest."
-
She giggles at his excitement. "Those are standard issue, well, formerly standard issue, Tau KX-139 weapons. They've been thoroughly modified by me and my father, though. So you won't find any like 'em in the universe! They're 100% unique."
-
"Oh damn, they definitely look unique, but... what kind of weapons are they? They're no chainguns or plasma guns. I mean, back home we still have other weapons, but nothing like those darlings."
-
he passed up a perfect occasion of telling her she was unique... >~> fix it next post boi
"Well, the three cannons are Pulse drivers. The right arm is an Ion cannon, and the left are meltas. I could give you more details if we were back at the garage... but again, like I said, pretty unique." She smiles.
-
I know, but I don't wanna seem like some flirt. But then I was like, -blam!- it, and wanted to edit the post.
"Ooh, interesting. Very interesting indeed... And they definitely are you unique, but you are too - more so, even." The man says with a kind smile, and an honest tone.
-
She gives him a warm smile. Not overly energetic, nor too bubbly. Just a genuine, deep smile. "Speaking of the Warehouse... want to come? I could show you around my suits..." She smirks. "... and maybe go for a drink or two?"
-
"More suits like this one? Who could say no to that? And even a couple of drinks, and you as company? I'd love to come with you." He grins, moving one of his hands to scratch the stubble on his chin. "Might have to get out of this suit though, but that shouldn't be too hard."
-
She smiles. "It's a date then." She gracefully climbs back up to the cockpit of her mech, getting back in. "Follow me."
-
Edited by CPU Purple-Heart: 6/23/2016 1:13:00 PM"I guess it is!" He exclaims with a grin. He then, assuming that she meant "follow me" as "follow me with your mech," walks back to the back of his mech, and climbs back with some effort. "Aye, aye, Cap'n!"
-
She giggles. For the sake of entertainment, we will skip the long part where they quietly walked back to the General Quarters and to the warehouses. The two of them arrived in front of the very large warehouse that Mir'ika called home. "Home sweet home!" Suddenly, the large sliding door opens up, allowing her to enter. She bends the mech down to fit in the door.
-
He takes a moment to look at the warehouse, and to collect his thoughts for a bit. He had only just arrived in this place, and he had already met a cutie, and now was on what she called a date. And she wasn't even a normal girl! But, quite frankly, he didn't care; he never was one for racism. Then, depending on the height of the warehouse, but because I'm assuming that its larger than fifteen feet, he walks into the warehouse with his mech.
-
The Warehouse must have been home to some kind of sorcery, since it was much bigger on the inside. Hundreds of Mechs, ranging from his size to the size of the KX139. "This is me and my dad's collection!" This was like a porn film for a mechanic.
-
*tech boner intensifies* The man just froze up as soon when he saw all the mechs, his place in the mech getting rather uncomfortable. His inner tech nerd wanting to take every single one of them apart, only to put them together again. Just to see their inner workings. Finally, after a while of just staring, the man manages to mutter two words, "Holy shit..."
-
"Impressive, Huh?" She giggles, getting out of her mech again. "C'mon! Let me show you around."
-
He swiftly moves the mech to somewhere it wouldn't get in the way, and the back, legs, and arms fold out, allowing Lucas to hop out the back. After a bit of... Relocating things, he swiftly makes his way over to Miri. "This turned out to be my favourite day yet, if I'm being honest. First I meet you, then this... And the day isn't even over yet!"
-
"You're right it isn't! We still need to have ourselves a few drinks in private..." She smirks, showing him around the various battlesuits they had.
-
Why do I have the feeling that her dad is gonna show up outta nowhere and'll chase him off with a shotgun like some redneck?
"Lookin' forward to those drinks! Hope you have some strong stuff... Like, real strong stuff..." The man chuckles, following Miri with delight as he looked around at the battle suits. He was like a kid in a candy store.
-
"We have stuff you've never seen before..." She chuckles.
nah, he won't.
-
"Definitely looking forward to it... Oh yes I am..." He says with a toothy grin, still looking around him with great interest.
phew.
-
After a complete tour of the hangar, Mir'ika turns to look at him. "So... there's that out of the way... now follow me..." She took his hand, her skin was incredibly soft. She walked with him up a flight of stairs, entering a small room.
-
Hangar? Wasn't it a warehouse before? The man held her hand back, timidly and submissively following her. His hand was gloved, the fabric being rather rough, probably to prevent things from slipping out of his hands.
-
Hangar, Warehouse, it's all the same. The room was small and comfy, with two couches, a desk, a few lockers and a minifridge. "Get comfortable, I'll get us our drinks..." She walks over to the fridge, bending over to look inside.
-
Edited by CPU Purple-Heart: 6/23/2016 2:27:18 PMWell, not really. A hangar holds planes and stuff, while a warehouse holds things that definitely aren't planes. Lucas took a quick look around the place, his eyes resting on Miri's bend over form for more than just a bit. Once he realized that he was staring, he swiftly looked at one of the couches while his face lit up in embarrassment. Then, he quickly made his way over to it, and sat down, trying to be as... casual as possible. Yeah.
