Quickly, they get to thick cover, protecting themselves from his assault. They used their anti-armour weaponry, ranging from lascannons to meltas.
The blue beams of the lasers punctured his armour, and the melta splash was like jets of acid. But still, even with these heavy weapons, the small infantry of the Cultists was no match for the heavily armed mech.

Hangar? Wasn't it a warehouse before? The man held her hand back, timidly and submissively following her. His hand was gloved, the fabric being rather rough, probably to prevent things from slipping out of his hands.
-
Hangar, Warehouse, it's all the same. The room was small and comfy, with two couches, a desk, a few lockers and a minifridge. "Get comfortable, I'll get us our drinks..." She walks over to the fridge, bending over to look inside.

Edited by CPU Purple-Heart: 6/23/2016 2:27:18 PMWell, not really. A hangar holds planes and stuff, while a warehouse holds things that definitely aren't planes. Lucas took a quick look around the place, his eyes resting on Miri's bend over form for more than just a bit. Once he realized that he was staring, he swiftly looked at one of the couches while his face lit up in embarrassment. Then, he quickly made his way over to it, and sat down, trying to be as... casual as possible. Yeah.
-
After a bit, she brought out a blue bottle. "Ah... there's the good stuff!" She walks up to him, sitting next to him on the couch. "Kroot Ale... now this is strong."
-
Miri saw that Lucas had indeed made himself comfortable; even his armour was off, now just standing next to the couch, like an empty shell. Which meant that he was now wearing nothing but a white T-shirt, which hugged his muscles rather tightly, showing of his... Like... Arm muscles... I don't know terms. And he was also wearing some black shorts that reached to his knees. "Ooh, it's... It's blue? Well, if it won't kill me, it's fine!" He said with a rather big smile.

Edited by Shadlezz: 6/23/2016 2:41:14 PMshe sat next to him, her latex outfit hugging her curves and exposing her body rather nicely to the eye. She removed the cork of the bottle, from which a subtle mist begun spreading. She grabbed two glasses, pouring it in both. She gave one to him. "Bottoms up, sexy boy..." She smirks.
-
He looked at the blue mist with curiousity, an inquisitive "hmm?" coming from him. Then he gently took the glass, and flashed Miri a smile and a wink. "Sexiest boy, I might add." He chuckles, and places the glass against his lips, tilting his head bang, and bringing the bottom of his glass up, pouring the booze into his mouth, and gulping it down without a second thought.
-
The sour, strong liquid, although being cold burned down his throat, the lovable sensation of strong alcohol. Although, quickly after drinking, the strength of the drink hit him like a train, straight in the gut.
-
The man brings his head back down, along with the glass, and licks his lips a couple of times before slowly nodding. "Well damn. That stuff is indeed pretty damn strong..." He softly said, his speech slightly slurred.
-
"Yep..." She smiles. "So, Lucas... tell me about yourself."
-
Edited by CPU Purple-Heart: 6/23/2016 3:01:51 PM"There's not a lot to tell about me, in all honesty.. I was born in a rather small town, into a pretty wealthy and kind family. I went to a prestigious school, studied a lot.. Didn't socialize at all though. Had really good grades, learnt a whole lot - even things that kids my age wouldn't be able to comprehend in the slightest... Then, when I was about sixteen, I stopped studying, focusing more on socializing. I got fairly popular, had friends and fun. That was until my dad's panties got in a bunch, and he sent me off to a military academy at age of eighteen. I eventually joined the military when I was somewhere in my twenties, don't know where exactly... I worked in the.. The real offensive areas, with mechs and explosives and really big guns. It was great, really... I, still being petty damn smart and knowing a rather large amount, started dabbling in human augmentations, eventually developing meds and other things, boosting my stamina, my strength, the whole package. Basically I made super steroids. Yep... I, using dangerous and experimental technology, eventually creating a portal thing, and ended I in here! Yay." The man took a little pause. "Guess there was a lot to tell, huh..."
-
"Well, that was a lot to tell!" She giggles. "Interesting story you have there, Lucas..."
-
"Interesting enough, I suppose... Made it sound like I'm some old guy though, while I'm actually, surprise surprise, twenty-seven... Anyway, what your story, babe?" The man says with a grin.
-
She smirks. "Well, let's see... I was born on Terra's Moon. My parents, Kor'El and Mir'idia, were both Tau who had fled the empire. Shortly after I was born, though, my mom was killed in battle... but that's alright. I never really knew her, anyway. Although I do know I look just like her." She smiles. "I was raised around humans. Your lifestyle of craziness and freedom has always been my favourite! I love throwing parties. I love everything about humans, you know. Your culture, your looks, everything. When I was really little, my dad showed me how to pilot battlesuits. I immediately loved it. Everything about battlesuits, I know like the back of my hand. My father eventually found another woman he liked... a human, named Amy. They had a baby together, my sister Amy. They named her after her mum." She giggles. "But yeah... now comes the dark part. During the battle for Terra, my father... well, he died. But... he wasn't killed. He wasn't left to rest. Necrons took his dying body and made him into a pariah, into their Supreme Lord. His first move was to attack the base we lived on, on the moon. A lot of us, the Tau of the T'erra Sept, managed to escape. His necron army was here with a single goal: destroy humanity. While he was a necron, he converted my mother too. Together, they had another child. Her name is... well, we call her Abby. She's really sweet... it's all thanks to her that we got Dad back. Being the only necron with a free soul to exist, she used her powers to liberate my dad. So when he merged with the Nightbringer, he kept control. Then, after that whole ordeal, we, the family, began scouring the cosmos to retrieve the members of the T'erran Sept. We were ripped from our coordinated flightpath, and we were brought here. And... that's about it. And even though I look like I'm only twenty, I'm actually twenty-eight." She smiles.
-
He nodded along as Miri told her story, interest in his eyes, and a smile on his face. The smile only grew when he heard the ending, how everything wrapped up nicely, and his eyes lit up. "Well, that's a nice ending to your story; everything turned out just fine after all!"
-
"Well, my story isn't over yet, you know... I have my whole life ahead of me..." She smiles, moving some hair out of her face.
-
"And neither is mine... And I hope that mine won't end for a long while... And I also hope that you'll remain a part of my story..." He said the last part rather shyly and silently, like a teenager, confessing his feelings to the girl he likes.
-
She smiles at him, chuckling a bit. "Well... if you continue to take me out on dates, I definitely will." She had no boyfriend, only her family. And she was open to everything. After her last couple ended in a disaster, she was ready for a refreshing new experience.
-
Edited by CPU Purple-Heart: 6/23/2016 3:37:52 PMHe smiles back, his hazel brown eyes being a very light brown right now, almost as if they changed in intensity depending on his mood. "Just dates, eh? Would that mean that I have the privilege of calling you my... lover?" He never had a relationship before, nor did he even had a first time in the past, so he was rather inexperienced and shy.
-
"Well, not just yet... but keep it up, and you will." She chuckles. Maybe it was the alcohol acting, but she kisses him on the cheek. "It's getting late... do you have a place to stay?"
-
He grins when she kisses his cheek, and answers her question with a shake of his head, "No... I don't have a place to stay. I was actually planning on sleeping in my mech, because that thing seems pretty safe..."
-
"Well... I suppose you could stay here, with us." She smiles.
-
"Yeah, that reminds me... Where are the others? Your sisters, dad, and... step mom?"
-
"Well, my step mom is dead too so... it's just me, my sisters and my dad. We live in this whole district. All three warehouses are connected, and we each live in one. Dad lives in here with me, though."
-
"Sorry about that... I don't know if you're still sad about it, or if you ever will be again... But I'll be there for you..." He says silently; it was more of a gentle whisper.
