Guardian Council central

As you may have noticed there has been talk of a council lately Some of which might have been contradictory to the others So with so many different ideas flying around how can we possibly make a council That is where this post will hopefully come in The purpose of this post is to help combine and grab the most favored ideas of the community and place in one place where we can still of course edit it still depending on how the newly added idea is taken in And as you know only one person can edit a post so if you want to help me help you please try to tag any separate posts with #GCouncil This will greatly help me with seeing your post And even then I am, thankfully, not all know so I might not see your suggestion to the idea even if it's popular so please feel free to contact me through PM's or this post (preferably this post so I don't have to make too many shameless bump) To reiterate I will be attempting to help combine the more popular ideas for the council in a hopefully coherent way [spoiler]sorry if my wording is off as I am currently typing this via tablet and me and touch screen keyboards never get along[/spoiler] Edit: I am going to list what I can tell is the most commonly known ideas for the community council [b]Purpose[/b] - The community council will be attempting to be a unbiased medium between the community and Bungie allowing for communication not only from the community to bungie but also vis versa in order to help give the community an understanding of what is going on in bungie - They will also observe and help organize debates [b]Requirements to be apart of the council[/b] - you can't have been recently banned - you must have been recently active - you must meet a certain quo of hours played [b]Structure and influence over community [/b] - no member will be permanent - each member will be elected by the community - the council will be split into two section: PvP and PvE - there will be 10 main members and 5 back up encase a member fails to meet his or her duty or if something comes up. [spoiler] Though another idea would be to have a rotation of 20 or so people in which 1 person is swapped out with a new person every week or so[/spoiler] - the council's feedback would not be considered more important, or the only feedback Bungie considers. - the council will have access to a private forum in order to present their feedback [spoiler]please note that it also might be necessary to have more in-depth ideas for how the council will be organized[/spoiler] [b]Elections[/b] - Elections will be held every 6 months - each guardian can only be elected once unless agreed upon by the community to be allowed to serve a second term - at any point the community can impeach a member's position in the council ending the said council member's term - players who are eligeable will register themselves through the forums by making a post with the tag #GCRegister[Insert Year]. this post could of course also contain reasons for why you want to be a council member and also serve as a small bio about yourself. - Voting will be communicated through likes on those said posts. This means that the top 10 posts with the most likes will be the newly elected council members. Then the 15-11 posts will become the back up members. This is what I have observed and as you may know I am not omniscient so please feel free to tell me if I missed something or if I misunderstood something
