"It is...It's been burned into my mind. I had no family. I had puppeteers..." Ophélia grips the pillow tightly, her eyes staring at the ground.
-
Abby bit her lip. This was her moment. Her chance. She put her hand under Ophélia's chin, bringing her head up to look into her eyes. "Don't say that. Ophélia... you're not a failure. You're everything but a failure. You're perfect. Look at yourself... you're so amazing I can't even begin to understand... It's impossible for you to be a failure. You're just too amazing... Although I'm the failure... I can't even stand being around you. You're too... you. You make me feel so... so... strong... and I'm to weak to confess my true feelings..." She looks down.
-
"Don't fret...You'll find the words eventually, Abby. Don't worry..." Ophélia tried to smile, lighting the mood.
-
"You're not a failure... you were meant to be..." She gulps, this was it. The moment. "Ophélia... I... I... I think I'm... in love... with you."
-
"...You...What?" Ophélia looks at her, head tilted. A blank stare with glossed eyes.
-
"I said..." She takes a deep breath, looking into her beautiful eyes. "I think I'm in love with you..."
-
"...Really..?" Ophélia practically fainted, her vision blurred.
-
"Yes... it's what my heart tells me. It's how I feel about you, Ophélia. I.... I love you..."
-
Ophélia faints upon hearing it again. Her head falls and hits the bed frame. Her legs limp. She seemed fine, Though passed out from the sudden emotion.
-
Abby sat there. "Uh..." She poked her a bit.
-
She was out cold. And clearly swooned.
-
Abby chuckled a bit. After releasing her feelings... she burst out laughing. It was like she had just lost a thousand pounds. "I'll just... wait until you get up..." She shifted Ophélia from her uncomfortable position, placing her in a better one. She hugged her, laying next to her.
-
Ophélia's breathing was slow and content. As if knowing someone was watching over her.
-
She lay next to her until she would wake up.
-
Almost an entire hour, Ophélia's started to move, Lifting her own torso up. Vision still blurred. "Abby..?"
-
"Yes..?" Abby sat up, looking at her. "You're awake... so... erm... about what I told you..."
-
"I feel...Odd...Happy, Angry...Sad. Really happy...Ecstatic..." Ophélia stared up at the roof. Her heart was clearly racing. "Give me five minutes...I need to calm..."
-
"Me too..." She stared ahead with her.
-
"...I think, I love you back...At least I think that's it...It's a rather rushed feeling...Not, Knowing."
-
"You... you do..?" She looked at her. "Really...?"
-
"I believe so... Tell you what, Abby..." She leans close. "Give me two days...And I'll have a for sure answer. My mind needs rest...Sudden emotion makes me confused."
-
"O-Okay... two days... sure... I'll wait... thank you..." She smiles at her, hugging her tightly. "It feels good to get it off my chest..."
-
"Good...I'm going to read for a bit." She slowly get up, and grasps a book.
-
"Alright... enjoy the book..." Abby does the same, grabbing a book.
