I play with friends and they suck at pvp
I play with people I don't know and we get to the LH
So it's about how good you are at pvp not how good you know the people you play with
I think free for all will be more fun and challenging but bungie never listen to us

Well yes, if you're playing with people who are way better than you, you'll get to the lighthouse. But if you're playing with people at a similar skill level you need to communicate and know each other's strengths, and you just can't do that with matchmaking.
