I think this would be a bad idea, solely because Trials is only successful for you when you play with people you know well and play well with. If you're having problems finding people, look on LFG, or Crucible Sherpa on Reddit. Running Trials with a rando would certainly not fare well for you.

I play with friends and they suck at pvp I play with people I don't know and we get to the LH So it's about how good you are at pvp not how good you know the people you play with I think free for all will be more fun and challenging but bungie never listen to us

Well yes, if you're playing with people who are way better than you, you'll get to the lighthouse. But if you're playing with people at a similar skill level you need to communicate and know each other's strengths, and you just can't do that with matchmaking.
