The Tin Man finds his heart...
A few days had passed since Ophélia had first arrived to the Bloodwrath. And it had been long, strenuous days for Abby. When she first rescued the girl, never had she thought her life would change...
Due to her... appearance, Ophélia mostly stayed in Abby's makeshift library, reading books. They had grown close to one another in the past few days, moving from friends to close friends. Abby had introduced her to her sisters, Mir'ika and Amy, who were both very happy with her sister making a new friend.
Abby had also explained to her that she, too, was unique in the galaxy. She was born a necron, a race of ancient metal beings, who were once a species known as the Necrontyr. She explained to her the horrible history of the Necrons, and their evil... but, she then explained to her the circumstances of her birth, how she was born from two converted people. A tau, and a human. It was thanks to her, a Necron with a free soul, that her father could orchestrate the liberation of enslaved necrons across the cosmos.
With their stories shared, they shared everything. Laughs, food, drinks, knowledge... it was just like Abby wanted it. The strange feelings she felt around Ophélia grew stronger during those days... Ophélia made her feel strong, made her feel truly happy, made her feel... alive. But, whenever she wouldn't be around her, she felt empty, alone, sad. With every passing moment, it was as If a part of her soul was detached from her. She recognized the feelings, she had read something in a book about it once. But... she decided to go see her sister about it, Amy. She was the wisest of the three and the kindest. Amy explained it clearly to her sister, with a broad smile.
She was in love. Deeply, deeply in love. It was like a shock to Abby. Never before had she ever been in love... but, somehow, she knew her sister was right. She always was.
Amy had told her to chase the feeling, to seek her out. To complete herself... basically, she wanted her sister to reveal her love. Otherwise... it would only hurt. And it did. The thought of Ophélia being intimate with someone else became like hatred to her. She refused it. It brought her to a boil. Her emotions were in a typhoon... and as if to add insult to injury, new feelings had developped within Abby...
Whenever she looked at her body, she felt hot down... there. You know where. Her curves, her long, sleek legs... Ophélia as a whole was simply divine. Every inch of her body made Abby fall head over heels, drool almost... every night, her dreams were the same. Thoughts of Ophélia... very inappropriate thoughts. And not just in dreams. Somedays, she just wanted to jump on her and do... things. It practically drove her to madness. She grew nervous, every night. She would stare at tge perfect beauty sleeping above her, in her hammock, and think. Oh, how happy she would be... the thought of Ophélia whispering tenderly in her ear, the three sacred words... her metallic heart beated, thumped, actually, harder than it had ever. But soon after, she would feel sadness. She never has the courage to tell her... and she feared she never would. And with a heavy heart, she would painstakingly fall asleep.
And all of this, only in a few days. But they didn't feel like days to her. Every hour spent with or without Ophélia felt like an eternity. And today was no exception.
Abby, today, needed to go to the Market. She wanted to shop for books. That always brought a smile to her lips, no matter what. If she ever was angry, sad or else, her father would give her a book, and she would immediately cheer up. So, she went. Ophélia decided to come with her, since she hadn't been outside in a long time. With a long gulp, she accepted, hoping she would contain herself in public...
While Abby was in the store, Ophélia waited outside, as her body was simply too large to fit in the small door. It was late in the afternoon, so shops were closing. But the library stayed open for long hours.

Ophélia stood outside of the door, Holding a small bag of books. A soft smile among her pale cheeks, her legs being stiff, in waiting. "Damn doors..."
-
Abby, in the store, often glanced out the store window to look at Ophélia. Every time she looked, she would smile. But outside... things were getting bad. Ophélia begun to feel the pressure of the staring at her, the judgement. The feeling of the uncomfortable heat washing over her unpleasantly. She heard voices, probably from people who thought she couldn't hear them. "Ugh... what is that..?" "Emperor... what is that thing?" "I can't even stand to look at that..." "Huh, who brought out the circus freak on a walk?" followed by a chuckle. The cloud of noise that was the ambience outside began feeling like an intense pressure on her. As if every voice was targeting her.
-
Ophélia quickly began to freeze up, her muscles tensing up. She tried to ignore the noise, but truly she couldn't. She looked through the store window, and after looking at Abby, her legs began to scuttle quickly towards the abode. Eyes having tears building up over time.
-
All through her escape, the voices continued to harass her, until she reached the quiet of their home. Meanwhile, Abby was done with her shopping, so she went outside. Upon realizing Ophélia had left, she got worried. She hurried back to their home.
-
Ophélia sat in the hamoc. All legs dangling off. Her hands gripping the webbing as she holds back tears.
-
Quickly, Abby reached her home, entering. She put the books by the door. Something more important was on her mind. Yes. Something more important than her books, her knowledge. Something, someone, for whom she would die. As she approached, she froze up a little. But she then grabbed her courage and went. "Ophie..?" She approached the Hammock. "What's wrong..?"
-
Ophélia felt childish, and annoyed with herself for being weak. She looked at Abby, her voice quiet and shakey. "People...That's what's wrong."
-
"Hey... come down here... let's talk about it, okay..?" Abby sat down in her bed, leaving some toom for Ophélia.
-
Ophélia latched to the wall, and swung herself down onto the spot. Her sweater sleeves longer than her arms, making her hands not visible. "Okay Abby..."
-
She sat next to her, her heart racing from being so close. "What... what exactly happened..?"
-
"I was just waiting for you. And...People started making fun of me. Ugly, Monster, Circus freak..."
-
"Oh... well... they don't know what they're talking about! You're no freak..."
-
"How do you know? I was an accident, Abby...A mutation. A failed project." She gripped her own sleeves.
-
"What...?" She had never heard that from her before. "What do you mean..?"
-
"...Abby, I was...Suppose to be a whole spider. Though I was...A mistake. A D.N.A. error..." Ophélia frowned. Her legs quivering.
-
"No... don't say that. It's not true, Ophélia."
-
"It is...It's been burned into my mind. I had no family. I had puppeteers..." Ophélia grips the pillow tightly, her eyes staring at the ground.
-
Abby bit her lip. This was her moment. Her chance. She put her hand under Ophélia's chin, bringing her head up to look into her eyes. "Don't say that. Ophélia... you're not a failure. You're everything but a failure. You're perfect. Look at yourself... you're so amazing I can't even begin to understand... It's impossible for you to be a failure. You're just too amazing... Although I'm the failure... I can't even stand being around you. You're too... you. You make me feel so... so... strong... and I'm to weak to confess my true feelings..." She looks down.
-
"Don't fret...You'll find the words eventually, Abby. Don't worry..." Ophélia tried to smile, lighting the mood.
-
"You're not a failure... you were meant to be..." She gulps, this was it. The moment. "Ophélia... I... I... I think I'm... in love... with you."
-
"...You...What?" Ophélia looks at her, head tilted. A blank stare with glossed eyes.
-
"I said..." She takes a deep breath, looking into her beautiful eyes. "I think I'm in love with you..."
-
"...Really..?" Ophélia practically fainted, her vision blurred.
-
"Yes... it's what my heart tells me. It's how I feel about you, Ophélia. I.... I love you..."
-
Ophélia faints upon hearing it again. Her head falls and hits the bed frame. Her legs limp. She seemed fine, Though passed out from the sudden emotion.
