He gently grabbed his hand, his grip was firm, but he seemed to have mastery over his own strength. So it wasn't too firm. He shook his hand.
"And you must be Macha? Chloanne told me how you orchestrated our meeting. Thank you for that."
Macha smirked, eyeing him over. If she wasn't with Ling... but she loves Ling too much for that. She was just happy Chloanne got off with that hunk of a man.
"Oh, you're welcome..."
She elbowed Ling a little, hoping to snap him out of his frozen status.

The elbow, thankfully worked and Ling looked around again. "I..accept this." He said, and Chloanne smiled. For once his brother agreed with her choice. "Thank you, Ling." She held Roderick's hand tighter. "Macha..you are a great person, I just hope Ling treats you even better.." Chloanne said.

"Oh, he does. No problems there." Macha chuckles. "You two want breakfast? I was just about to make some." Roderick looks at Chloanne, and nods. "Yeah... why not?"

She responded. "Sure. I'd love some." She said. Ling also talked, but kind of quietly. "Yeah. I'm just..going to go think for a minute." He said to Macha.

"Not hungry, sweetheart? I'll have coffee made, too... and you can talk to Roderick here!" Macha gets up, walking into the kitchen.

"Actually..I am." He said, hugging Macha and Ling whispered. "[i]I'm freaking out because holy shit that guy is huge. He could tear me in half.[/i]" Chloanne walked into the Kitchen, not even noticing Ling hug Macha.

She whispered back. [i]"Oh come on, you work with people this huge. Remember space marines? The nice man won't rip you in half, I promise."[/i] After their hug, she walked to the kitchen, leaving Ling and Roderick alone. "So... you're okay with... well, me being with your sister?" Although he was gigantic, the man was still humble and respectful.

He nodded. "I am, it's just I was worried about who she would end up with..Paternal love of course." He said, getting up. "Let's go into the kitchen. To see what Machas making of course." Ling said, sliding off the backwards coat and walking to the kitchen.

"Good idea." He followed. Macha was preparing some nice plates of fruit with coffee, cooking some pancakes as well, with the help of Chloanne. "Hey boys. Take a seat, it'll be ready in a pinch."

"Looks good." Ling said, Chloanne was rather quiet. Focusing on the cooking of course. "So...How did you meet..?" Ling asked. "Funny story actually. You see I met alot of people beforehand, the weirdest being some guy throwing pots around.. But anyways turns out this one space marine didn't accept no for an answer. The both of us didn't know this until later, so I finally meet Roderick at a bar drinking water and I go to him. After a little bit of chatting that marine shows up and challenges Roderick to a fight for me. I tell Roderick to go ahead and he beat the Marine like a flea." She said, this giving Ling another headache and holding his head. "So he defended you from a creepy space marine.." He gave Roderick a thumbs up, showing his approval.

He smiles at the approval. "We spoke, spoke some more, went to dinner, and then one thing led to another... and I spent the night here. I guess Chloanne and I just... clicked. The chemistry just worked between us."

"Macha and I were different. You see we didn't really like each other at first seeing how I was a Inquisitor and her an Eldar. But..when we met for the second time we talked and something clicked.. eventually we started living with each other and now We are a happy couple." He said, smiling at Macha. "She is the most perfect person I have met.."

Macha smiles at him, still cooking breakfast. "I see... quite the loving tale you have, you two."

He nodded. "But some problems have shown themselves. The Imperium is not really Pro-Xeno when it comes to things. So I'm taking a break until I can figure it out completely." Ling said with a grim look on his face. "But please, don't let that get in your way. The both of you."

"We won't. I promise. I won't let anything get in the way of my love for your sister, Ling." After some time, Macha prepared four plates of pancakes accompanied with fruits. "Alright people, breakfast is served!"

Chloanne nodded as she sat down next to Roderick. Ling, started eating his pancakes. While Chloanne started eating her fruit first. After a couple of bites Chloanne asked Macha a question. "What is it like with Ling? He's very different now than ever."

"It's really nice. We've pretty much dropped the formalities. We can just be ourselves with one another... and I really like that." She smiles, eating her pancakes.

He nodded, eating his pancakes too. "You know what I find strange but good? The fact that here we are, sitting down and eating breakfast like normal people and yet there are people outside doing only they know what. It's..alot better." He said, it was better than constantly fighting.

Roderick spoke. "Well, it was like that for me until yesterday. I slept in shelters, moving around, helping wherever I could. Thank you for letting me stay here."

"Yes Ling, Thank you." Chloanne said. "Well I wouldn't want to separate the both of you anyways. It would be wrong." He said to the both of them. He continued eating.

Roderick, being huge, ate a lot more than any of them, but hey. There was plenty of food. Macha chuckled. "It is kind of funny..."

Ling eventually finished his plate, Chloanne shortly after. "This was nice." He said, smiling. "Yes it was Ling. Thank you once more and you too Macha." She smiled back.

"You're welcome." She clears the table, putting the plates away for washing.

Ling helped too while Chloanne went into the living room. After they got done clearing the table Ling hugged Macha from behind. "I love you." He said, kissing her on the cheek before heading back into the living room.

She kisses him back before he leaves. "Love you too!" She smiles, Roderick goes to help her clean the dishes. "He seems like a sweet person. You're lucky, Macha." He says, smiling. "Well, you seem sweet too. I'm glad Chloanne found someone, especially you." "Yes... goodness is she amazing. Beautiful, funny... I couldn't ask for more."

"Roderick is a nice person Chloanne. I'm glad you chose someone like him." Ling said. "Macha is too. I just hope you don't lose her Ling." She said to Ling. "Don't worry, I won't. She is the most special person in my life besides you...Chloanne." Chloanne was rather touched by this and hugged Ling. In which he hugged back.
