*Mortar resisted a strange temptation to shove him into his pocket dimension and keep him there until he calmed down, but, he did something unexpected.*
It's okay, Smough, you can let go of him.

Uh...what? ~Ornstein sounds like a maniac right now~
-
You heard me. I am truly sorry for what I did, and I am showing my sorrow by letting him do whatever he wants to me. *Mortar closes his eyes, waiting for what's next*
-
~Nothing came.
-
*Mortar opens one eye* Smough, what are you doing?
-
~It isn't Smough. Ornstein is standing some feet away from you. He's looking down. The knight looks at you with sorrow~
-
*He opens his other eye, still bracing himself, but not as much* Ornstein...
-
~The knight looks at you, then walks away, shaking his head. Smough goes after him~
-
*Mortar relaxes a little more, he was certainly not expecting that.* Should I talk to him? He seemed calmer, but... that's not always a good thing... *Mortar seems to be talking to himself*
-
I'll talk to him...he's not doing well.
-
I could tell
-
~Smough sighs~ He's doing really bad, actually. I'm the only one that he'll talk to, so far. You should've seen him and Nameless...
-
Why, what happened? What did he do?
-
Nameless came to our apartment, said he was sorry for not letting him, trying to tell him he'll still have more. And...he just snapped. I'm afraid that he'll...he'll go Hollow. ~Smough says the last word with immediate dislike~
-
Hollow? I'm sorry, I forget what that was. Can you, um... explain?
-
When an Undead loses all hope, or has nothing, they go Hollow. The first signs is skin starting to become extremely rough, paranoia, and seclusion. It gets worse, until finally...the Undead lose themselves completely. It's basically an Undead losing humanity. It's an awful fate to have...
-
That is awful. Well, we gotta make that change. I am not gonna make my friend lose his sense of humanity
-
Some recover from it, but...it's unlikely.
-
SCREW IT, I'm going to help him if it takes every bone in my body!
-
Alright. Good luck! ~You arrive in front of Ornstein and Smough's apartment. The door is closed to their room~
-
*Mortar rests under a tree, his head against the trunk* I will just stay here, regardless what you all say.
-
~There's no response.
-
*After what seems like an eternity, Mortar wakes up, refreshed. He sees Orn through a window, and calls for him* ORNSTEIN! OORRRRNNNSTEINNNN!!!!
-
~The knight looks at you, then closes the curtains~
-
*Mortar sighs, he really wanted to see Ornstein feel better. He lost a friend like this, he didn't want to lose another*
-
~A couple of days past. You get a couple of opportunities through Ornstein leaving the apartment. You follow him until he enters the Starbucks. He only gets a coffee, pays for it, says "Thanks." gloomily, and sits down, not noticing you~
