"Hmm.."
She thought about it.
"He'll be asking questions..but sure. No point in waiting to tell him."
Chloanne got up and grabbed her undergarments, slowly placing them on.
English
-
"To Chloanne and Roderick? I'm sure the right time'll come to tell them..." She kept hugging him, holding on to him.
-
"I'm sure about that.." He said, still hugging and leaning his head on her shoulder. "When we can find the right time..I want to marry you, so we can be official." Ling told her.
-
"Marriage..?" The idea hadn't crossed her mind, but now that it did, she got excited. "Really?! I mean... I don't know how marriage rites work with humans but... yes! Absolutely!"
-
"We'll figure it out..." He said to her, smiling. "But for now we can wait on that and focus on the now." Ling hugged her a bit tighter. Not too much to cause pain but for one to be comfortable.
-
They stayed there, holding one another. And now, moving on to the market. Roderick was walking through the busy market, holding Chloanne's hand. A lot of different stands were up, selling all sorts of things.
-
"This place is more alive than I expected." She said, holding Roderick's hand.
-
"People always find means of going back to their lives. I'm glad to see it in action."
-
"Indeed." She said, looking at the stalls around them.
-
Some had fruits and vegetables, some had meat, some had various pastries.
-
It all looked good to her, she wasn't really picky when it came to food. But they came for the healthy groceries.
-
"Pick anything you'd like. Anything. I'll buy it for you." He smiled at her. "A shirt, a necklace, anything."
-
"How about..that?" She said, pointing to a Dark Red dress that was hanging up. It would certainly match her style.
-
"If you want it, you can." He smiles. "I bet you'd look beautiful in that."
-
She smiled. "I'd like it." She said to Roderick.
-
"Then it's yours." He walks up to little stand, and purchases the dress. Seems as if he had a lot of money saved up.
-
She took note, but she didn't want to abuse this fact. It was his earned money anyways. "Thank you Roderick. You're kind and sweet."
-
"Anything for my love." He chuckles. They spent a bit more time in the market, where they bought plenty of food for the four of them.
-
"This was nice Roderick. We should head back now I guess." Chloanne said, clutching his hand.
-
"Let's." In his free hand, he held all the grocery bags, walking with her back to their place.
-
As they made it back to the house and entered, Ling was laying on the couch. probably asleep. "Seems like he's asleep." She slightly whispered.
-
"Let's try not to wake him." He whispers, tiptoeing to the kitchen
-
"Mm..Macha, where are you going?" He said, rolling over to face the couch. Clearly he didn't know it was the two. Chloanne carefully tiptoed to the kitchen with Roderick.
-
Although he was heavy as shit, he was pretty light on his feet. He reached the room, placing the groceries down.
-
Ling was surprisingly a heavy sleeper, besides the occasional talking in his sleep. Chloanne was relieved to not have woken up Ling. She didn't want to deal with the 'why did you wake me up?' routine.
-
He put away the food, in the fridge and whatnot. Wherever it is food goes.
