Blood Hounds
West of the Imperium Camp
=============================
Blood Hounds, the chapter that Lat had created
They set up camp just west of the main gates, the compound they maintained was well thought out and established, not even a portal could appear without being shut down immediately. The whole area was guarded by the chapter members, and at their head was the leader, Katherine Borshe
The Hounds where more for espionage and guerrilla warfare, fewer in numbers since they where recently formed.
Only thing is though, they had been the ones so far to actually go deeper into the Bloodwrath to shut down and destroy the portals that have been opening up.
Thanks to Noirtram and his antics, the Khorne where eager as ever to face the new legion in combat, while Nurgle only watched and Tzneetch planned it all out...

"Trade cache 10745, you can enter"
The few simple words, the main ones spoken, which allowed access to the Hound's compound, as an Imperium shipping crate entered on a drone
The two camps had setup a trade relation, the Hounds offered to help it as best they can, while the Imperium kept them stocked on supplies until they could really get going
The compound was still small, but s greenhouse and several other food areas had been setup, along with a warehouse for armor and weapon repairs. The barracks off to the side and the main center of the area was used for training
Marines ran all about, ranging from a male or female scout or messenger, soldier and such forth, to a mighty Hound, a smaller yet more lethal Space Marine with a very specific genome in mind
Kat entered the base, the Marines saluting as she walked by, back over to the main building, the Pens as they where nicknamed, where all the higher ups resided...

You hear an alarm coming from general quarters. Screams fill the air as mobs of frightened people run away from the slums. Loads of armed guards make their way to the direction of the screams. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/207215256/0/0/1
feel free to play along

Inquisitor Ling, in his epic golden Grey Knight armor that's suited more for a human walked up, followed by a Tech Priest. He had heard of this camp but never really got the time to see for himself. Until now that is. "Well maintained..That's good." He said to himself. The Priest was rather silent besides the Mechandrites swiveling around.
-
Several squadrons of Marines marched by, shorter than average, bt possibly make up for it in combat Vehicles and other sorts where seen rumbling about, scribes keeping track of what entered and exited the camp
-
"This is very odd..But I cannot complain. I merely came to observe, not to be a dick." "I miss Ciarn..He was atleast fun." "He was one of those Eldar dicks. Not so fun in my opinion." "Atleast when he's drunk he is fun.." "Silence, we're approaching the camp itself." They conversed and walked, eventually reaching the entrance.
-
A few of the Hound marines where seen, strange looking rifles in hand, not Boltors or the normal Imperium weapons A scribe was there to, turning towards them "State you're business and identity, it's standard for all people outside of the Chapter to do so"
-
"I am Inquisitor Ling Defaln of the Ordo Malleus, I bring my Tech Priest to observe this..camp." He said to the scribe.
-
"Fair enough, don't cause any trouble" She scribe turned back to his work, a marine hit a button and the gates lifted up
-
"Well, they're impressive." She passed by Blackburn as he leaned against a wall.
-
"They are? First person to say that, actually Others just went 'they look puny' and things similar"
-
"Look at me. I'm not one of those muscle bound meat heads that are so committed to killing everything, and yet they don't have a long shelf life. You're starting to think a little more tactically."
-
"Well, thanks I guess Don't know exactly what to say though, since like I said, others complain about them"
-
"Let them, it's not like their opinions mater, unless they do, then try to persuade them to your side."
-
"I tend to ignore them, since I get shit from them slot for not really being a part of the Imperium Tends to get boring, and eventually you learn to ignore it"
-
"Not sure I'd be on the imperium's side normally. They're oppressive and fanatical."
-
"True, which is why I work outside of their limits, allows me to do much more than what they think they can Plus, I have to answer to no one"
-
"We all answer to someone, in the end. Few people also don't have someone who keeps them focused, parents, siblings, lovers. Everyone has someone."
-
"All I've got for family is my father figure, Gorm Other than that, not much to distract me"
-
"Like I said, someone to keep you grounded. What's your goal?"
-
"Find out why the hell people are on this ship"
-
He laughed. "That's a good one, one that is shared by many on this ship I believe."
-
"Everybody shares it, none of us know why we're here"
-
"Oh I'm sure someone knows something, we just have to find who, and how to get them to talk."
-
"My two sense is that it's the Summoner, the bastard must know something"
-
"Question is how to get him to talk, he won't say a word if I took a blow torch or car battery to him."
-
"Yeah, that's the problem No one can get him to speak, at all"
