Bump and could i add to your idea of the lore? Possibly actually incorporate it into the story to reflect the grimoire?

Yes, I think there should be a Lore Keeper for every faction as well as the Vanguard and the Reef.

And/or the cryptarch or the speaker could be the lore keeper for all general info and enemies.

That'll be cool too, I would be absolutely fine with that. The lore is what makes this game and the fact that's it's actually not in the game is a tragedy. I mean can you imagine having Amanda Holiday tell you about the TLW vs Thorn story.
