"CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP!"
There are a few rules to keep in mind when exploring a dark and creepy local after waking up with no recollection of how you got there.
1: Stay very, very quiet. Walk slowly and carefully, and do not say a word
2: Do not, under any circumstances, turn on a light. If it gets too dark to see, stay put, let your eyes adjust, then walk even slower.
3: For the love of all that is sane and right in the world, DO NOT follow the sound of strange chanting - ESPECIALLY if it sends an unnatural shiver down your spine and hurts just to hear.
If only I had actually listened to myself, I might not be running back the way I came with some abomination against reality hot on my heals. Oh well. Better keep running.
I took quick peek behind me, before whipping my head back the other way. Nope, still too horrifying to comprehend, just like it was five minutes ago.
Also, can I just say that running for your life does wonders for one's stamina?
"SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, PLEASE HELP!"

"Well, alright." Xavier started gathering the survivors.
-
"So, what's the situation, here?" I asked, looking over the survivors.
-
The people that have been pulled out of frozen time were all still accounted for. Along with some prisoners of those attackers.
-
"Who are you guys, and why were those jackasses trying to kill you?"
-
Your allies took time to introduce themselves, but they have no idea why they were being attacked.
-
I shook my head, sighing. "Same shit, different place." I turned to Xavier. "So, what's the plan, boss man?"
-
"Leave for the safehouse."
-
"Lead the way, my friend."
-
More land and concrete materialised as they walked. The concrete and dust went to their places as they walked.
-
"So," I said, turning to our new companions. "What's your guys' story?"
-
Most of them talked about how they suddenly saw cracks in the sky while they were minding their own business.
-
I thought about that for a moment, before turning to Xavier. "Anything you'd like to add?"
-
"You know, I did see how this first happened."
-
"Did you recognize anything about these cracks?"
-
"Not at first, no. What I do know about those is that they were the result of the different universes colliding with each other."
-
[REDACTED, due to those people not having actual players to control them. This was meant to be from a WIP RP I had.]

Lucky for you, as you ran you plowed straight into Nathan Blackburn, a battle hardened marine out looking for supplies. "What the hell man?"
-
"NO TIME, JUST RUN!"
-
"Alright go!" He said charging his rifle and turning back to face the oncoming creature.
-
"YOUR DAMN FUNERAL!" I said, continuing on. I highly doubted his weapon would be enough to put it down, but it might slow long enough to eat the poor guy.
-
The marine loaded his grenade launcher and prepared to hold his ground.
-
Daemon, btw.
I heard the thing barrel around the corner behind me, no doubt right into the poor shit's line of sight.
-
daemons aren't so tough as you think.
The marine saw the daemon and was not worried. He waited for a second and then fired his grenade launcher. The explosives struck target and blasted it back. He opened fire a second later firing in short bursts.
-
Eh, he doesn't know that, and neither does he have much of anything to deal with it. Also, I have very little experience with 40k, just enough to know what daemons are, really. Gonna be learning as I go.
I heard the beast stagger, and looked back at the soldier. The man was holding his ground and, as far as I could tell, winning. Just who the hell was he?
-
The daemon began to retreat and the marine stood fast. Soon it turned and ran from the fight.
