She giggled at that.
"You certainly are a charmer, Roderick."

"I could say the same from you, Chloanne." The bartender brought her her glass of water. "Say, Chloanne, do you have any family, or close ones?"
-
She took a sip from the water. "Yes, my brother Ling. He is a good person...if you can get past the fact he is rather over protective." Chloanne said. "What about you?"
-
"I have an older brother, named Tulleesh. He's very smart, a lot smarter than me. Though I'm stronger." He chuckles. "I have two cousins, Derrick and Amaelia."
-
"That's nice. Ling is my only known living relative..but thats fine. When he's not making an ass of himself that is." Speaking of Ling making an ass of himself, he was currently crying into a pillow he thinks is Macha, due to drunkenness. It would be a sight to see...
-
topkek
He sips his drink. "You'll have to excuse if I'm a bit of a stale conversation companion... I'm not very good with women. Especially when they're as charming and beautiful as you are... it just gets me all turned upside down."
-
"To be honest, I did not know what to say when I first met you either. You are certainly big and strong.." She complimented. "Perhaps we could..meet again?"
-
"We definitely should... but the night isn't over yet. It's not too late, perhaps I could interest you to dinner?"
-
"That sounds nice." She smiled.
-
"Perfect... I know a good place for us to go." He stood up, his whole ten feet showing. He held his hand out for her to take. "Shall we?"
-
She held his hand. "Sure." Ling was now passed out on a tear soaked pillow with a empty bottle of wine next to him. god dammit Ling.
-
The two of them walked together for a bit, reaching a nice little restaurant. They ate there, together, and shared a wonderful moment. Laughs, smiles, it was a beautiful experience for the both of them. At the end of the night, Roderick walked with Chloanne back to her place, both of them holding hands. Roderick smiles at her, his tail swaying slowly left and right. "You know, Chloanne, I had a truly wonderful time tonight. And I feel like it wouldn't have been the same with someone else. I'm really glad we talked and had so much fun..."
-
"Indeed..But perhaps fun has to stop at some point.." She said, grabbing the door handle. 'And Roderick, Thank you for this pleasant evening." She entered the building.
-
not even gonna invite him in?
He stood in the doorframe. "When can we arrange another date? I had so much fun tonight, I can't pass that occasion up."
-
Since you asked.
"Actually..if you come in now we can talk about that." Chloanne said to Roderick.
-
"Thank you." He steps in, looking around. "Homely. So this is where your brother lives? With this Macha girl?"
-
"Yes, I'm guessing they're both asleep.." At least that was the case with Ling. Probably getting his eye poked out by Machas ear once more. "It's..rather strange I know. But this is as weird as it gets.." She said.
-
"Them being together? I'm comfortable with that. I think that loves goes beyond species and gender. It's deeper than any of those barriers."
-
"That's exactly what their relationship is.." She said. "Do you think we can transcend that barrier..too?" That was a risky move, but it will be worth the effort if it is pulled off.
-
He smiled warmly at her, his hand on hers. "If you're willing to transcend it... absolutely."
-
"Then yes." She said, smiling at him. Holding Roderick's hands as well.
-
He stayed there, holding her hand, looking into her eyes softly, smiling. His hand was warm. He could feel his strong heart thumping in his chest. The red streak in her hair, her asian traits, her perfume, everything about her was amazing to him. Never before had he felt like that in his life, although he was quite young. Maybe, he thought, he felt love.
-
Chloanne was glad, glad she finally found someone who she liked. The minty forest smell he gave off was certainly perfect, she liked him as a whole. She leaned forward and hugged him.
-
He hugged her back, embracing her tightly, but not too tightly. Just right. Although he was absolutely beef, she could already tell he was a master at controlling his strength.
-
"You certainly are someone.." She said to herself..
-
"I could say the same about you..." He keeps hugging her. "I uh... I don't have a place to stay here. I usually wander from shelter to shelter. Think you could... lend me a hand..?"
