"To the Rogue Trader and their Heirs/Associates."
She said.
"But it's hard to even get them talking about it since well, it's rarer than a Space Marine having children."

-
"Damn..." She sighs. Their options were getting slim.
-
Sadly the edgy grimjob was coming back for round two. "I didn't say I wouldn't write Ling in." She said. "Wait, Ling you are a Inquisitor. Can't you just give them a good reason to let you guys be..? I mean you guys constantly have near unlimited power Secondly to the Emperor and his Primarchs. Correct? Just say it's some demon incursion or whatever and that's it?" Ling sighed. "It's sadly not that simple. The Ecclisarchy and the High Lords hate about anyone that's not a human. They barely tolerate very temporary alliances with anything."
-
"Sounds like it would be time for a change of command... I remember reads on the old Emperor. He wasn't so Xenophobic, and was rather humble, if I remember correctly."
-
"That could be true..Then again I wasn't alive when he was well, not a corpse on a chair." He said.
-
"Are there no records of him in your libraries?"
-
"Well, Yes. But Hereticus doesn't really like anyone going in there." He replied. "They don't want anyone outside of the Inquisition knowing anything except that the Emperor is a God and that they are really just not insane people."
-
"Well, you're part of the Inquisition. You could go do some reading up on them..."
-
"That's true Ling. Why didn't you think of that before?" Chloanne added. "Because I don't think the first thing on my mind would be checking the Inquisition Records upon a death ship! Chloe." "Hey! don't call me Chloe, Ling!" "Oh yes because you hate it don't you?" Bickering ensued, clearly this has been a on going thing.
-
"Ahem!" She taps her cup with a spoon, making loud noises that interrupt their bickering. "Fighting won't solve anything. Ling, when we get off this ship, we, well, you can go back to Terra and access the vaults. I need information on how the Emperor was in his rule. Meanwhile, I should search on my craftworld to find means of rallying our peoples together."
-
"I'm sorry...Macha is right." Ling said. "Apology Accepted, for now." Chloanne said too. "So that's the plan..but im afraid we don't know how long we will be on this ship." He said to Macha. Ling was actually worried they wouldn't even get off the ship for a long time, and he wanted their children to not be upon this ship either.
-
"For the time being, we have to remain here, together, unified. I'm currently researching ways to leave this place... but it doesn't give me a lot of options."
-
Ling nodded, slightly tapping his fingers on the table. "This has been a weird day." Ling said looking around the slightly unclean quarters and took off his Inquisitors Coat, placing it on the chair. "Some space marine chased me over alcohol yesterday." He said.
-
"Sounds... strange?" Macha raised an eyebrow, smiling.
-
"I threw a bottle at him. Didn't work so I just dropped most of it and sneaked some wine under his nose.." He replied. "I didn't know you drank alcohol..?" Chloanne said, surprised. "I honestly don't, but I was willing to try it." He said.
-
"I've never been much for alcohol either."
-
"Huh. I did not know that..." Said Chloanne.
-
"So, Chloanne, any special man in your life?"
-
"...No." She said rather quietly.
-
"I see... you looking for anyone to fill that role?"
-
"Possibly...though I don't know who.."
-
"Well, perhaps you'll find someone soon. Hell, when I first met ling, I never imagined I would find my heart in him... but I did. I was pleasantly surprised." She smiles at ling.
-
He smiled back. "The funny thing is was I didn't really like her until we talked for a second time..and then it just clicked." He looked at Macha. "Chloanne, you'll find your special someone someday.."
-
"What type of guy do you like?"
-
"Perhaps someone sweet and caring? Not like Ling though." Chloanne said, the last part jokingly. Ling ignored that comment and continued looking around the room like someone on LSD.
-
She chuckles. "Good men are hard to find. And a lot of times, we confuse bad ones for good ones. But rarely, sometimes, we find the right ones for us. Just have to give them a chance..."
