Hilarious and Weird Updates to Video Games
Changes and updates to games are typically done to add new, cool features or fix balance issues. But some are weird, and hilarious (and entirely true). For example:
Elder Scrolls Online-Rescued goat trapped in a wall.
World of Warcraft- Fixed global pandemic afflicting Azeroth.
Dwarf Fortress- Stopped guards from changing gender every twenty steps.
Destiny- Expunged Peter Dinklage
FIFA 16- Removed pedophile
Are there any other weird and funny updates we can think of that actually happened?

6 RepliesThe devs working on Elite: Dangerous released a patch that made their AI smarter and gave them access to crafting. Long story short, the AI built ships with superweapons, pulled players out of warp, and ripped them to shreds. It got to the point where the AI were actively hunting players to test their new weapons. Eventually, the devs took down the game and limited the AI's access to crafting to prevent that from happening again. Still, crazy to think an AI takeover almost happened.
