Moments in Destiny that had you laughing so hard you cried?
Just had one. In a party with a bunch of friends but playing different games. Playing with a buddy trying to get a skirmish win and barely lost. My buddy says that the blueberry die and lost us the game. Out of nowhere my other bud ( who's just dickin around in the tower) says "-blam!-in deadbeat!" so -blam!-in funny!
Another time, back when I was on the 360 and couldn't record, I killed a legionary with an incendiary grenade and kill a few more things. Next thing I know I turn around and see a legionary with his head and shoulders stuck in the wall with his butt and legs just hanging in the air and he's twerking. Legit twerk like a mad man! I was dying laughing and my fiance ( who hates destiny) even started laughing her ass off! It was great

1 ReplyMostly crying, but I bought my brother in law Destiny for Christmas after I had close to 1000 hours in, me and a good friend took him through his first night fall and got the gjallorhorn. I just got my first one recently from legacy heavy engrams. Still salty about that one!

1 ReplyYou know those bottomless pits on Mars near the OTW, past the Buried City? I once Pointed in there to a random doing patrol. He went in there and fell to his death. I've never been both so amused and disappointed in myself.

When playing as a hunter, using a Higher Jump at just the right moment when being smacked by a Phalanx would send you flying really high into the air. so many good times were had with that. Messing around with with the knock-back Sunsinger melee perk a long-ass time ago. Meleed a Dreg point blank into a wall. His corpse did not hit the wall, His body twisted around and he face planted straight [u]through[/u] the wall. The last thing I see is a dreg's ass twerking furiously before my game crashes.

Me and a friend decided to take our other friend, who we will call Gabe for now, on a trip through the Nightfall. Gabe didn't care for Destiny much, and hadn't played in a while, so we didn't expect him to care. It wasn't me laughing. He. Gets. Mother. Freaking. Gjallarhorn. With legitimately no effort put in. Or the time both my friends got Doctrine of Passing right in front of me. I laughed at the time, but now I cry myself to sleep.

Back when Vault was the raid I was playing with my clan and I had invited a new member from Australia so as we waited for one member to smoke after the jumping puzzle the new guy yells "Everyone jump on my head and make a totem pole" he then started encouraging us so much so we got like 4 high. So funny for such a stupid thing. Another time when racing a clan mate was in first all excited but a guy was gaining so we tell him to go faster he needed to hit O hahaha and off he went right before the line as we drove past laughing. Hahaha we actually got like 5 clan members that first day as they got off work to join in the racing.

2 RepliesMy friend adores his invective, we were in the middle of an NF (Taniks) ages ago, and he ran in shouting "i shall claim the eternal victory over Taniks! You challenge me..." He was the last man standing in the team and he tried to invective Taniks. He failed miserably.

2 RepliesI was doing CoE, melee kills for extra points. I misjudged a hit and a phalanx whacked me into another which whacked me back in the first one's shield. Happened in less than 2 seconds. Guardian down.

We were running crota back in the day. I was doing sword and I went from first phase of dps to crystal room. Well little did I know, crota decided to follow. I found out as I turned around for a second, then tried booking it the other way, shouting to my clanmates: "don't stop, don't -blam!-ing stop, keep going around that fūcking corner!" Next thing I know, guardians down. He sword swiped all of my fireteam except for 1 guy! Another time I got bashed by 2 phalanxes at once during exclusion zone when you used to have to farm it for glimmer. They hit me at the exact same time, and launched me out of the Mars atmosphere. Laughed so hard!

I have two: first one I was doing trials and my friend Superman punched me off the map and cost us the Winn at four-four and I laughed so hard I wasn't mad. Second one was this weekend and I was grinding for grasp and after we killed omnigul I was dancing next to a knight and it wasn't attacking me it just had its sword on its shoulder.

The first time I did one of the Crota missions, I was scoping with my sniper when a Knight came into view and he was super close. I screamed, at the time it was terrifying; but later it was hilarious.

Totally not destiny related, but was playing R6 siege the other day and there's a map where you can jump into a van in a garage..we were in overtime and a team tried using the glitch and we got to them before they got in and wiped them. Next round, we were defending and my 2 brothers I was playing with jumped in the van. It eventually went down to a 1v1, my brother in the van and the enemy outside it, hiding behind the wall. It was secure the objective so someone had to die. The guy started sending my brother messages and begged him to come out the van. Somehow, after about 10 mins, he moves out a bit and ends up getting killed. We ended up winning and he messages me talking shit. I have no idea why he messaged me when I had no idea about the glitch and didn't even do it lol. It's funny as hell if you've ever played siege.

In Y1, played nightfall with 2 mates. Finally finish it to see them both receive gjallerhorns while I got..... a universal remote. Laughed until I cried.

My friend had his stormtrance pre nerf of landfall. He activated it and fell off of a cliff, and he could have got a six person kill right there. I also remember having someone else in the party who was playing Fallout while we were raiding. He started saying that he needed the host to explain the raid to him over and over and the host rage quit.

1 ReplyFireteam member with a deep voice and strong Scottish accent but a bit of a quiet mic. Told him to go into his PS3 settings and turn sensitivity up. Comes back sounding like a chipmunk really squeaky. He'd messed with the voice changer setting and not realised. Absolutely hilarious. Whole team in hysterics I actually cried laughing.

1 ReplyDuring SRL, telling my friends that hitting the A button would give them a huge boost in speed. Even got one of them twice by telling him that he had to do it as he was passing through one of the gates. Many curse words were said. Good times were had.

I was running a nightfall with a couple friends back in vanilla. It was Summoning Pits with void and solar burns on. On our 2nd run through we decided to cheese Phogoth by hanging a couple rooms back and sniping him. He was at a 3rd health after we had run up to his entry door to blast him with heavy wepons, and this of course summoned a shrieker. Being the mischievous person I am while my friends were shooting Phogoth I turned to the shrieker, blasted it with my mythoclast and told them "I'm just gonna let you guys deal with this" and took off running. All I heard was one of them saying "deal with wha?" Then guardian down. I was already laughing so hard I couldn't breathe but then I learned that because I ran to a different room the game counted that as a team wipe and sent us back to orbit right as I got into rez range. I learned about karma and laughed myself off my couch.
