Should I Focus On Agility On My Hunter?

From what I see right now it doesn't seem worth focusing, but I'm a Hunter and the class is supposed to be based around agility. What does agility even do? I know it increase Sprint speed and Jump height, but it's hardly noticeable when compared to a low agility Guardian, so is there a reason to even focus on it?

Fleet Footed increases sprint speed, so get it. For a Bladedancer, most points go into recovery, with Agility as your second priority. Agility doesn't increase sprint speed, only running speed and jump height. A little agility is good for strafing while aiming. The reason you need high recovery is so you don't get rekt for using Blink. Use Flux Grenades to OHK guardians and crucible when stickied, and arcbolt for crowd control in PvE. In PvE, try to play support with invisibility so you can revive teammates without any threat. You arent much of a damage dealer to majors and ultras. If you are a gunslinger, main recovery with your second being armour. Use Incendiary grenades for crowd control in PvE and Tripmines for traps in PvP. Deadeye increases your Golden Guns bullet magnetism, so use it in PvP. In PvE, use Combustion along with to eliminate large groups of enemies

In my opinion, agility is only worth it if you are a bladedancer. Fleet footed (while in the shadow of quickdraw) can make you move really fast when paired with Bones of Eao and Increased Control jump. The crazy speed you can get from these can allow you to close gaps pretty quickly, so it's best with a CQC weapon, like a shotgun. Also the added slide distance from Fleet Footed helps with slide shotgunning, if you're into that kinda thing. TLDR: Yes, but only on a bladedancer.
