Bungie Writers - stop jumping sharks

I look forward to the Rise of Iron, but why do you keep taking massive dumps on your own lore? "Become an Iron Lord?" So by October, there will be MILLIONS of Iron Lords? The Iron Lords were legendary guardians, only one of whom still survives. They made the Vanguard (essentially our bosses and superiors for all of Destiny) look like chumps. They were the pinnacle of guardians... and by the first month of Year 3 for your 10 year story, we are going to all be Iron Lords. This is a bad pattern your writers are in. You know, you can make a task seem epic without labeling it as the ULTIMATE BATTLE every time. The first strike boss we ever face? A god. Well, shoot, where do we go from there? Crota can be a god too! And... his father Oryx can be a god-ier god! Am I the only one who doesn't feel like slaying gods is a big deal in your universe because I have been doing it since I was 2 days old? Another example: We have to find Erys some cool lines. "Even Oryx cannot control an ogre...". Sure, the darn things have been part of Hive squads all along, and not once has one turned on the other Hive and done anything other than attack guardians. Sure, Oryx has them all over his dreadnaught (not Taken, and very much appearing under control). But the line is cool! The entire arc of Destiny is supposed to "Become Legend," but selling almost every mission as if completing it ranks us among the greatest legends of your universe? It says your legends are just boring everyday stuff. You can do better, and let your story unfold rather than ending every paragraph with, "And now you are the best Guardian to ever live!"
