Back in December when Bungie completely destroyed Sunbreakers, there was some salt, but you know what everyone else told us Titans?
"Deal with it!"
And now Bungie has ever so slightly modified your throwing knife (something that gives you basically a extremely long melee if aimed correctly, something that no other class has) and they don't let your tripmine (something that by it's very name implies that it is meant to be placed and then have someone walk through it) stick to people, and the salt is ramped! Not to mention they Super buffed Nightstalker so that it instant suppresses (something I believe was necessary), and there is still salt!.
Bungie did not COMPLETELY ruin your subclass, like they did in December, so please.... please calm down. The world is not ending, you will have to ever so slightly modify how you play. Be happy you HAVE neutral game for Bungie to modify, Titans ain't got crap, and Warlocks aren't too far behind. You have been dealt a glorious hand from the beginning. Recognize what you have, and please stop complaining about an ever so small change. Please, and thank you.

Throwing knife is a finisher. Always has been. Whenever I got a ohk from the burn I always felt a little guilty. I usually seek out the person and finish with my primary, because that's what I should have to do. It's a knife. We take bullets to the face from assault rifles.

Hunter main. Was my only character for the first year. Made a Titan in year 2. The nerfs to the hunter were no where near as harsh as sunbreaker. That is literally the last subclass I would choose. Gunslinger is now much more useful. But the nerf to trip mine was to much. The hunter nades are all trash
-
What's more hypocritical is back in year 1 people who mained Titans complained 24/7 about Bladedancers calling them "Un-killable, Paddle button spammers" and cried "nerf, nerf, nerf!" But then they call people who main Hunters "whiners" okay fam I see your logic.
-
You seem to have an issue with my work in December yet agree with my most recent work while calling some others hypocrites for the very thing you are doing. Step back, breathe and repeat after me: I will not get too attached to anything in this game because I realize Nerf will be coming for it one day.
-
I agree sometimes people like to complain a lot but look at it this way, nobody wants to get their class nerfed. I really wish Bungie stops nerfing everything eventually. All this nerfing just takes away the experience of the game in my opinion and just causes tension and so called "saltiness" amongst players.

Bu ng Ie didn't destroy sSunbreakers

Edited by Mr HiQuality: 6/20/2016 3:45:20 AMTbh the nightstalker supressing on hit isnt right the aim assist on the thing is rediculous and once i get hit by it in my super im dead or my super is gone no way of countering it or avoiding it, unless the hunter sucks, that is stupid

So removing VF to a subclass that relied on a neutral game was fair? Eople complained about bolts not VF. That class is now forced to play one game style in pvp and to make it worse they admitted no data supported it being OP. So why the -blam!- am I forced to switch my solar grenades out just because you want your new DLC to be full of titans. All I can figure is Rise of Iron is a titan DLC and they want to showcase that class. They need to make a reward system to reward people for switching. Not force everyone to do it like a Hitler run -godwinslaw!- camp.
-
Ummmmmmm blade dancer here...they nerfed my melee range and skip nades my neutral game is crying (glad they fixed front stab)
-
Warlocks have an extremely long melee (;
I'm so sorry please forgive me God
-
Yeah because nerfing a super that turned you into Thor is the same thing as a nerf to tripmines something that no one complained about !! I understand wombo combo, shadestep and frontstab nerf but the tripmines, bladedancer mobility nerf and throwing knife nerfs were not reasonable at all. They just want us to use other things in the skill tree so they decided to nerf those things.

Edited by Erijian: 6/19/2016 5:11:14 PMSaying Sunbreaker was destroyed in the December patch is still an exaggeration. It had some hit detection issues, but Hammer of Sol was still one of the strongest roaming supers in the game. Neutral game was and still is ass though.
-
You are missing the point, Hammers of SoL were already op af, you could 1 hit anyone with/without a direct hit. Not to mention shoulder charges and how unbelievably op they are. They made blade dancer a joke, when hunters were already pretty Much the underdogs.
-
For guardians who are suppose to be the strongest, Titans complain to much
-
Personally I didn't give a s*** about the hunter nerf cuz it was needed and this is coming from a guy who's main is a hunter
-
Hunters do have throwing knife true. However let's not forget that Titans have shoulder charge, and that melee is really easy to use.
-
To this day Titans are STILL crying... grow up, nothing is forever. Once you realize this you'll be happy.
-
Why are people complaining? Golden Gun is actually a viable option in PvE now!
-
The tripmine nerf is bullshit not the sticky removal the majority can deal with it The decision to nerf the damage when it already only killed the blueberries that got one shot by throwing knives
Seriously if there's a hunter out there that has consistently got Ohko throwing knife kills please stand up
Imagine if bungie said ah we wanted lighting grenades to be more like actual lighting so we added a thunder sound effect before its activation and reduced it to one pulse with a chance of a second
Think about that for a second. Then tryto tell me that isn't ridiculous
Hunters can adapt but the nerfed damage isn't going to encourage anyone to use a grenade you have to babysit to get kills with
-
Because nobody ever complained about throwing knifes and trip mines and it was COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY to nerf them ~~Dinklebot
-
Yep. Bunch of damn hypocrites.
-
#HuntersAreOverReacring I hope #TheFineBroesDontSueMe
-
Well said!
-
They removed immortal Titans with the best mobility.. Gave them breaks and gave them roughly the same health as the strongest roaming supers. That's not ruining a subclass.
-
But but... I'm entitled!
kidding of course
