I doubt they'll make you find all 50 fragments. That's a little too ridiculous.

Well you need 45 to get touch of malice, 5 more isn't asking much really.

Except for the raid and the court, it takes 30 minuites. Then all you have to do it log in once a week raid, complete the challenge and beat a tier 3 and a few tier twos. If that's asking too much, then you're just lazy

They made you hunt down all the golden chest. What makes you think they wouldn't do it with the fragments?

I've found all 50 fragments and have done the crucible quest line. It's not too difficult. You just need to grind a little bit and have a good raid team.

So is the listed PvP quest line. Bet more players have all 50 calcified fragments then have completed that quest line.

It's not that hard with so many YouTube videos showing them all. I suppose the raid challenge could be an issue if you can't get a fire team. I can always help you if needed.
