Check out www.the100.io. It's a great site for planning/joining on games. The people are chilled out and patient and always willing to help people through their first time on activities. You can set up a game for when you know you will be free and members will tag on.
I would never have done the raid or nightfall without this site. I cannot recommend it strongly enough.

That creates a five to ten hours handicap and that makes kinda hard to schedule lengthy events like Raids and Challenge of Elders. But thanks for your heads up, anyway.
