So I just got back from watching Warcraft. Gotta say I loved it. I've heard mixed reviews about. Critics hated it, because well critics generally hate blockbusters. Warcraft fans loved it.
Warcraft honestly did what comic book movies need to do. Stick to your target audience. The beginning of the film has just enough exposition to familiarize the general audience with what is going on. But for the most part the film said screw the general audience and gets right to letting the fans geek out.
I know it isn't saying much given how Hollywood has treated video game adaptations in the past, but Warcraft is honestly the greatest video game adaptation to date.
what did y'all think?

Edited by Helio Skitzer: 6/15/2016 6:35:49 PMIt was good. But having read the lore, they screwed a bunch of stuff up.
Orgrim was a Blackrock orc, not frostwolf. Llane was killed by Garona as a result of her being mind controlled. And Varian saw it as she cut out his heart. That's why Varian hates orcs so much. And Guldan engaging in a fist fight? No way, he would've cheated ASAP and ripped out Durotan's soul immediately, if Durotan had actually done that in the lore, which he didnt. Also, khadgars fight with medihv should've also included the part where medihv aged him.
