Like the rest you see on here, this is crap. NO ONE was talking about trip mines needing a nerf, and of course now people want to jump on Bungie's bandwagon now. Throwing knives were fine, trips were fine. I'm really frustrated about this because the change is noticeable in PVP now. The community wanted Firebolt grenades nerfed, and that was it. Yea, Stormcallers super is still long, but it was better. You've killed the Hunter in a single 288 MB patch. You take shade step back a level, nerf knives and trip mines....the only GOOD thing you did was get rid of Circle of Life being useless.
I also find it amusing that you, Bungie, didn't say a word about any of this in your live Twitch streams, Weekly updates (until the last minute), or anything. You knew this would be the reaction!! You kept your mouth shut and just rolled it out during a period where you are talking about Rise of Iron and great new content, KNOWING it would quiet the ones who totally disagree with this nerf patch. Limit the outspoken ones that are pissed off about more nerfs. We don't want less power in the game, we want more...thus why mayhem is popular..duh. You kill off each class instead of bringing them UP to the same level. Wrong way of thinking in my opinion.
Still, I find it funny you slip this out under the radar a few days prior to the patch dropping and don't look us in the eyes and tell us one on one why throwing knife and trip mines need to be nerfed. Trip mines are no fun now and pretty much useless. If it can't one hit kill ([b]like every other solar class has a grenade that can[/b]), whats the point?
