"Well, just point me in a direction, and I'll be on my way; unless you're gonna escort me like I'm some damn princess."
The man chuckles and shakes his head to himself.

"I think the latter may be the best choice, seeing as how you don't exactly know your way around." The man chuckles.
Oh damn. -blam!-in' roasted, son.
"H-Hey! That hurt my feelings, y'know?" He says, with a joking tone. "But, if that's the, case, lead the way, oh my knight on his white horse."

The Chaos marine walks down the halls with the loyalist marine in tow, laughing a bit. "Glad to see humor hasn't died in the Imperium."

Edited by CPU Purple-Heart: 6/15/2016 12:48:08 PMWhat a very, very odd pair. The Templar laughed a bit with the Jade Dragon, surprised by how casual he was being with a Chaos spawn. But he wasn't gonna do shit about it. "I do my best to keep it alive... I didn't know that the Chaos had a sense of humour, though."
-
"Oh, you won't get much pleasantries from the other Chaos deities. Our god hasn't enslaved us to his will. He has, in fact, liberated us from our curse. We serve him by choice."
-
"That's another first... You really were right when you said that this place is filled with many firsts." The man pauses for a bit as he takes a deep breath. "So, your god... He seems like a special one."
-
"I will tell you his tale. Perhaps it will help you understand him. Noiratrom was once a primarch. A son of the Emperor. But during the Horus heresy, he was turned to chaos against his will. He was caught in a warp storm, where Nurgle turned him into a Daemon Prince of decay. For thousands of years he shed blood in the name of his god, never truly knowing freedom. Until he battled with one of his brothers, Tep-Pharon. During that fight, he was sent through a warp tunnel, where his whole life changed. His bond was broken with the filth god, he had amassed major power. To cut the story short, he began working with his other brothers of chaos undivided to gain even more power, absorbing their souls. Then, he went and Freed Isha, who was kept captive by Nurgle, and then she turned him into a god."
-
"Ah... That explains a lot, actually.... And that's yet another first."
-
"Being that his powers were given to him by the god of life, Noiratrom is, for that end, a god of life as well. That explains the vegetation that covers my armour."
-
The man nods, glancing over his Chaos marine... Friend? Friend may be a little farfetched, but maybe not. "Yes, I had been wondering about that for a while now... What about your name. The Jade Dragons?"
-
"Noiratrom's attributes can be compared to those of a great reptile. That is why we resemble dragons. We are his Jade Dragons, the keeper of his will."
-
"Interesting... Say, do you have any names that I could call you?"
-
"Well, you can call me Dominicus."
-
"And you can call me Aethald
-
"Very well, Aethald."
-
The man falls silent, not sure of what to do next.
-
"We are almost there." He continues walking. "I am sorry, too. About your squadmates."
-
The Black Templar perks up, his new... Friend having piqued his interest. "What do you mean? What happened to them? Killed, I assume... Damnit."
-
"I can only assume they have been killed. Their blood was evidence enough of that... perhaps there is hope some of them survived."
-
"I have no idea what could happen have wiped an almost entire squad of Black Templars out though... And what would've kept me alive? Why me, honestly."
-
"Perhaps it was mere chance that you were spared. As you like to say... maybe the Emperor was with you."
-
"Oh, the Emperor is definitely with me... My life was saved twice now, both by pure chance..."
-
"Not the second time. I saw you go against those cultists. I knew you would have been killed. So I decided to intervene."
-
"I guessed so, but it was still by chance that you were there, was it not? And I don't think I've thanked you for saving my ass, so... Thanks."
-
"You're welcome on that."
