I can honestly say as an old Xbox gamer that this was one of the greatest I have ever seen. At the end, when Phil Spencer was talking about the future, I truly felt that he understood exactly what we as Xbox gamers want. Play Anywhere is an amazing way to utilize Windows' versatility. The new changes to Xbox Live like the new LFG program, Arena program, Live based clans called "Clubs", and new servers will make gamers more connected than they already are. There is a very wide variety of new games coming out so everyone will have a game to play. And now, the elephant in the room, literally. The end video where they were talking about the Scorpio I was on my knees. They are announcing it now so by the time it comes out devs will already have games ready for it. 8 CPU cores, 6 terraflops. The most powerful console ever made when it launches in 2017. As a player on both PS and Xbox. I have never been more excited for the future of a console than I am right now for Xbox. Sony will have to do a shitload to overtake this briefing.
What do you guys think? I would like to hear from every gamer here. PS, Xbox, PC, or anything in between. Link to Post Sony Conference: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/206634263?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=0

I agree with everything you said. Xbox has a great lineup it seems, so many games I'm really interested in unlike PlayStation's e3 where only two or three games stood out for me. Still wondering why Microsoft was showing gameplay of FFXV instead of Sony, very confused about it. Maybe to show that it can still run great on xbox one since ps4 usually plays games better? Or just trying to get a few jrpg fans on their side.
-
I kinds wish xbox had as much to offer this year as ps did. I've been wanting to dust off my xb1.
-
Honestly, all these new dashboard features sound cool, but it's all novelty. The LFG is probably the only part that will consistently be used by the community. I see it the rest of it the same as when they announced 'Record That', it was awesome and everyone used it... Now? Well now, I doubt anyone would truly give a shit if they removed it. As for the Scorpio... Hmm... Sounds too good too be true. I'll wait for full specs and details. That being said, I can't see this selling at any price - low or high - if you can't alter the graphics and such yourself. A console that gives you at least similar in game options to a PC will sell hard. I guess there's a few problems with implementing that, though.

Edited by Capt Explodabob: 6/14/2016 3:03:00 AMReally liked the MS conference. Sea of Thieves and Scalebound are my games of the show. Gears looked fucking incredible as ever. Dead Rising 4 — holy shit! State of Decay — holy shit! Co-op! Forza in Australia speaks for itself. And that Halo Wars 2 trailer was probably the best trailer. Period. Ubisoft had a really good conference, too. Very funny and real with the fans. Ghost Recon, Watch Dogs, and South Park were great. Sony's was okay until Kojima came out and stole the show (no gameplay, though). Zero Dawn looks really good, and so does Days Gone. But why in the actual fuck did Guerrilla decide to bring Kratos back for the Nors God of War? Such a bad character. Oh, and thanks for that slap in the face with Crash. EA — total garbage... until it ended and the BF1 stream started. As for Bethesda? Hey, PREY's back, I guess. Oh, and Dishonored looks good.

huh? I thought this Xbox E3 was worse. They didn't really reveal anything new that we didn't already know was coming. We all knew about Gears 4, ReCore, Sea of Thieves, Cuphead, etc. Did I miss something? I didn't watch every second of it but I skimmed through it as I did with the others I missed due to wonky scheduling
-
I dont really care how powerful my console is, as long as it gets the job done.
-
I thought the same until PlayStation's
-
I prefer MS' conference over Sony's this year. Sony did a great job but MS did what I wanted most, which was give me dates for when I can play these new games and not just give me nothing but CG trailers, or a ton of VR stuff (VR is interesting but I need to know much more about it).
-
Could someone explain what the HDR in the Xbox 1S do and how/ will it impact games? Thanks in advance
-
I missed the livestream, could you give me a rundown on what happened?
-
Yep the only thing im worried about is... Is the extra cost going to be worth it... If every game has to be made for both of the x1s does that mean the games will suffer??? Kinda like the whole "last gen is ruining destiny"... if all games work on both systems and you dont have a 4k tv what will be the big difference other then say less or no frame rate drops??? Or is this more like true (kinda) pc power in an easy to use console???

Edited by DELIVER ME MEMES: 6/14/2016 5:08:20 AMas a now PC player(Who understands technology) who has and is currently disappointed with the xbone, yeah, i'll probably save up for a scorpio but that was the biggest piece of marketing BS. so. many. buzzwords! and they're putting in a fixed-position blower style GPU, on top of the stack, right under the top of the case ? L.O.L they're cheaping out on hardware again.. somebody please show them the thermodynamics of a GPU, ffs. i can't even play my console because early adopters got F**ed over with tiny HDD sizes, and now that it's later on, they still think 2TB is enough? watch for a 4TB later. not to mention VR and 60 frames per second? enjoy your constant motion sickness then, recent technology updates to the good VR headsets(true VR doesn't involve a phone) make each eye an independent 90FPS monitor in and of itself to eliminate motion sickness. good news is that with the slim at $299, they got it right and made it a [google]loss leader[/google].

Not really sure how to feel about it, to be honest. I'm curious to see the Scorpio's price point, as well as the full specs instead of "6 TERAFLOPS" and "THE BEST PIXELS WE'VE EVER HAD."
-
The only good looking xbox games imo were sea of thieves, mafia 3, and battlefield 1.
-
Did they say anything about background music being added anytime soon?
-
I definitely want to see more of Sea of Thieves and figure out the activities to do in it.
-
Slim looks awesome but saving for Scorpio+ 4K HDR 120Hz TV. Recore, Scalebound, Gears of War 4, Titanfall 2, Halo Wars 2, and Fe all look amazing!
-
Agreed and am on the hype train. This is a pivotal year of serious hardwork to right the wrongs done by the first xbox dev teams. Phil Spencer is the real deal, HE EVEN FINISHED HIS CRITERIA FOR THE YEAR ONE EMBLEM unlike Deej, the spokesman for Bungie. Hearing him talk demands the peoples attention and nobody has even done a complete reversal then this bad boy. Phil Spencer, You the top dog yo! Games look great, We get Scorpio next year, this was a long time in the works and only shows that they didnt give up on us and did it right.

Edited by Vgnut: 6/13/2016 11:12:00 PMIt was good. I wouldn't call it one of the greatest E3's conference I've ever seen. Now Microsoft at E3 2006 was magic. Keynote started off with a great bang. Announcements were good. It only dragged maybe once or twice. FF XV's demo was horrible. Minecraft went on way too long. Halo Wars 2 did not demo well. Some of those indie titles look like gems. I think the Scorpio announcement would have been lighting the world on fire if we hadn't known about it for so long now. Pacing of the conference was great. I think Microsoft might be the best at putting these on. What lacked was that megaton game unveil. This is what has been killing Microsoft for a long time. They just aren't putting out the top tier GOTY caliber exclusives. Usually every year you're getting at least one Playstation exclusive that's a contender for GOTY. It's been God knows how long now since Microsoft studios were putting out big hugely acclaimed games.
-
It was terrible. They even paid SE to go on stage to show a horribly downed version of FFXV lololol
-
Any info about upcoming Xbox exclusives, other than Halo Wars 2?
-
I missed it. But i will be getting Scorpio for sure. Can't wait to hear a price point so i can figure out what to save
-
I'm ready to throw money at the screen for that scorpio. Microsoft, I feel is really listening to their community and giving what gamers have wanted for a long time
-
Love the scorpio. Loved dishonored 2. Excited about sony. All in all a good conference
-
Lfg is pretty cool. Cant wait to try it out
-
Scorpio got me excited
