The Four rings...all made to unite Mordor. It was a good idea, with good intentions...but the wrong one executed it. Three rings, one for each major race of Mordor, the Human, the Dwarves and the Elves. The Fourth...the Fourth was made in secrecy, by the Dark Lord. When Sauron was slain, his most loyal lieutenant, the Black Hand, took the Fourth ring, the most powerful ring. The other three are with the other races, hidden amongst Mordor and its secrets. The Rings grant immortality, no one knows why, but somehow, they do. With the Dwarves underground, missing, the Elves and Humans enslaved, there's no telling where they could be, maybe there's a creature who is drawn to the rings...maybe this creature is the Hammer of Justice to crush Sauron's army once and for all....

There is more than four rings I believe. This is the Verse of the Rings: Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them, In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.[1]
