I’m trying not to sound mean, but I’m done with being PC on the matter: Seriously, stop being poor and get a life.
I really don’t see why this is a topic for debate, So I’m just going to put this to rest.
Stop being poor. Sounds harsh I know, but the solution is clearly simple. Get a Job.
Don’t even reply to this, stop what you’re doing and start looking for employment.
If you’re currently studying and your institutional debts are holding you down, clearly it seems a game is taking a higher priority than your future. If Destiny is more important, then stop wasting yours and everyone else’s time and just give up and drop out.
If you’re too young to get a job, then you’re too young to play Destiny.
If you have a Job, but still can’t afford a PS4 or Xboxone, stop doing drugs, don’t go out drinking every weekend, don’t get married, don’t buy a house, don’t have kids – If you have kids, think about fostering them out to someone who can afford current gen, you’re only dragging them down with you and that’s selfish.
I'm sorry, but your inflated sense of entitlement is pure bs, stop making excuses and take responsibility for your own actions.

Stop being poor? You shouldn't generalize and make assumptions. I don't see the value upgrading. The difference is minimal and hardly worth an additional $300. Am I poor? No. I just bought a new house and truck. Because, priorities. I'm fine with D2 being next gen. That makes sense. But, to release a game on an old gen and have the next DLC only available for next gen just doesn't make sense to me and is frustrating. Why? Because, not only would I have to buy the new system, I would have to buy Destiny again, plus the DLC, just to experience the rise of iron. That's $300+$60+$40 for a segment of players to include themselves. It's manipulative. I was waiting to see what Bungievision's next steps were to address specific things before purchasing another DLC. I went from probably buying to not spending another dime, even if I do upgrade. So, rather than convert me to the new DLC, you lost my future purchases for Destiny altogether. Good job. I'm sure others feel the same.
