Low rate of fire auto rifles
- These fire at 450rpm
- Deal about 21 damage to the body and 26 to the head
- It takes 10 body shots to kill or 8 headshots (at least 6 headshots needed plus 2 body)
- Maximum TTK (if you get all body shots) is 1.2s and Minimum TTK (if you get enough headshots) is 0.934s.
With focused fire:
- These Fire at 300rpm
- Deal about 28 damage to the body and about 35 to the head
- It takes 7 body shots to kill or 8 on high armor targets or 6 headshots (minimum of 4 headshots with 2 body)
- Maximum TTK (if you get all body shots) is 1.2s or 1.4s on high armor targets; minimum TTK (if you get enough headshots) is 1.05s.
This tier of auto rifle includes the SUROS ARI-45(gunsmith), the Dealbreaker(crucible), Shadow Price(vanguard) and several others.
These weapons do not kill super quickly, actually slightly slower than the medium fire rate tier, although they feel much more consistent. This consistency is due to a seemingly higher aim assist and the slower fire rate. With more time between shots the recoil is less difficult to control as well tracking targets and aiming accurately can also be easier. Overall the range is a little short on these and you will often notice some levels of damage drop off. These are perfect for medium to close ranged gunfights. They are not great in at extremely close ranges against more close quarter oriented weapons so it is smart to carry a good close ranged special weapon.
For these look to max out stability and range, although don’t give up mag size since the mag sizes are generally quite small by default. Counter balance is not as needed verses the other auto rifle archetypes but without it you will want to get as much stability as possible from other sources(SUROS weapons are able to get tons without needing CB).
With focused fire these nearly become a fast shooting scout rifle. I have not used any of these but based on their stats they appear to be very weak so I would not recommend them. If you’ve used a low rate of fire auto with focused fire plz comment.
Overall I enjoyed using this weapon type. I far preferred it to the medium rate of fire tier. The only issue I had was their low mag size, which made killing multiple opponents difficult.
