After the Khornites had been driven back to their master, the Jade Dragons returned to the gate, but didn't go through. In a wide area around it, a grove of strange trees grew in a flash, despite the lack of soil. Within that grove, the Dragons made their base. It was like a little patch of their home brought here.
-
Astrid sets up a tent for herself, making a desk grow out of the ground along with a seat. "One small victory for us.... Yay, I hope Noiratrom is happy with the results..." Astrid sits down and starts to write down the events of the battle.
-
The warriors erect desecrated shrines, chaotic temples and a monastery for their forces.
-
Astrid watches them, a small smile on her face. "Mmmmm..... Such beauty....... Maybe we'll be able to do the same for the entire ship...."
-
"Conquering the ship isn't my intention, love..." Noiratrom spoke to her through mind communication. "Are you sure you should be on the battlefield? You carry within you something more precious than my entire power..."
-
"I just wanted to make sure this area was secure, I'll be back in a few minutes." Astrid gets up and walks out of the tent, making sure the camp was fine before walking to the warp gate.
-
The spiraling portal lay before her, opening unto the living forest.
-
Astrid walks through the portal, arriving back at the Formless Wastes.
-
The formless wastes, re named the living forest after it having an actual form, was a continent floating in the warp covered in gigantic forests, lakes, plains, etc. It housed the Jade Dragons, the Daemon spawn of Noiratrom and his massive palace of marble.
-
Astrid appears near the palace, but decides to visit the temples to pay her respects to hers and Noiratrom's worshippers. She knew that often visitation inspired loyalty and increased worship.
-
Well, she didn't really have any worshippers, since Noiratrom was the god. She did have some importance, being a chaos lord and all, but they praised their overlord Noiratrom.
-
Whoops
Astrid checks everything before heading to the palace, wanting to see her beloved.
-
The palace stood in it's usual place, mighty and proud.
-
Astrid walks in and climbs up the stairs. "Noiratrom? I'm home!"
-
"You don't need to yell... I can hear you fully." He spoke to her mentally. "I am in the Garden."
-
"I keep forgetting about that." She softly chuckles to herself and heads to the garden.
-
Noiratrom stood in his god form in the garden, observing the plants.
-
Astrid grows to his height and hugs him from behind.
-
"Hello there." He turns around just before to hug her back.
-
"Aw, I failed on sneaking up on you.." Astrid cutely says as she nuzzles his neck.
-
"Well, this is my realm after all..." He chuckles.
-
"Good point... How are you today?"
-
"I am a god... I have the most attractive woman in the warp as my wife... and I'm expecting my children. I could never have imagined being better." He smiles.
-
"And I have the best man in the warp as my husband and I'm pregnant with our offspring, so I feel the same way." Astrid sighs happily.
-
He let out a short breath out of his nose, a little chortle, smiling. "I suppose you're right."
