Combat Testing Room
In all of year one the gunsmith was mostly useless until finally he earned the approval of players in the Taken King with the implementation of Armsday weaponry.
However, we must be careful since some rolls of the weapon perks can either clash or be far from optimal and other times there is a need to experiment. For this there needs to be not just a firing range with idle targets but a "danger room" that gives us full access to our moves on hologram targets.
This will make it easier to see if the hand cannon with Icarus works well with the exotic gunslinger helmet that has bonus accuracy while jumping.
As long as earned resources have a cap, I think this combat testing zone will be useful for Armsday and vendor weapons.
