So about a year ago, i did a thread about your ride. Well figured it was time to update, as im almost finished.
First off, this isnt my everyday driver, i usually drive a '15 tundra.
Info, 1950 Chevy Styleline DeLuxe, 4 door.
Bough this thang from a guy who watched fast and loud, and had no clue what he was doing, and for a steal, 3500 for a 10-12k frame off resto.
Here it is day of purchase. front, back..
So the plan was laid bare, and the old guys cried, for the things i was about to do with this old beast.
Keep the drive train original, 12V conversion, Chop the top nice and low, disc brakes in front, add BT stereo, new rear end differential(highway cruising), then take her as low as we can go.
, on Flickr]Post,chop
A friend pulled together and hid all of this, after we pulled this car apart.
Still working on finishing the body, and we also frenched the head lights.
So with it looking sweet as it can body Wise, we put dropped updrights in the front, cut the fron spring to 11.125", replaced the rear leafs with 2" dropped ones, dropped shocks, and cleaned up the 3" drop blocks. And its now looking like the pic at the top. Just a little more work and flat black paint, then lake pipes, Dual carb, and Blue crushed velvet interior.
I know a couple car guys exist in here, tell me what you think, and if you got a custom, or something sick, shows the bitch.
Btw, Car is now known as The Devils Crown.
