Just a heads up: I've found that using Cortana with a headset on is pretty awkward if you're in a game or app, even with the sound off. The new activity feed settings are cool though, and the new games and apps layout is a vast improvement.

That UI still has a long way to go. In their drive to force Windows 10 on all of us Microsoft has forgotten that a PC UI doesn't necessarily work on a [i]video game console with a controller[/i]. At least it's not the Xbox 360 end of life UI. Because Jesus -blam!-ing Christ was that something to behold. Sony and Microsoft should both look at Nintendo for when it comes to making UI's. Clean, simple, no BS. For all its flaws the Wii U's UI is fantastic and can boot straight into your app of choice. But that would mean having a quality UI over selling products and Windows 10. Sony's guilty of this too, albeit a little less so.

5 RepliesI guess it's nice that you can use Cortana without having a Kinect. Not that I'll be using it I think. Also, does anyone know why I can't join players who play custom games in Halo 5? If I go to my recent players list and find people playing customs, the option to join is always un-clickable. I guess some might have the party on invite only or something, but really, everyone? On the 360 I could always join Halo 3 and Reach custom games via the recent players list. Why is this so difficult now?
