Considering the current abysmal drop rate, either bring back reforge (in a limited times per week like Armsday) or increase the drop rate.
I am sick of the feeling of finally getting another NL Shadow, but had to dismantle because of crap rolls.
If you guys can increase drop rate on Iron Banner, doing it in strikes and crucible shouldn't be a problem too.

This. No amount of grinding will net me a Hakke autorifle with interesting perks.

But that decreases the replayability, you wouldn't be grinding for days if you get it fast. When you have it all, what's keeping you here? And if your not here, what's gonna make you buy the next overpriced dlc? Money is the root of all evil.

Edited by AstralAgent: 6/8/2016 7:02:08 AMIf a person plays videogames to satisfy lootlust they should seek mental help. I'm pretty sure I would have more fun if every potential gameplay feature was unlocked initially and build design was a thing you could do as in Armored Core, for example.

I agree sadly most of the human race are subconscious gamblers. And it's not our fault it's biology. There is a few studies one in particular with rats who push a button for food. It becomes very rare that the food drops and they sit there all day pressing that button even right after they've eaten. I suppose we are sort of doing the same thing.

But isn't that the sort of instinctual obedience you are supposed to be working to overcome? Consider me a human sympathizer.

To me, less time to get stuff = more time to get stuff. Plus, some people like me have other things to do in real life, so getting a ghost, coins or exotics from Shaxx's bounty actually wasting my precious time.

I know what you're saying but once you have gotten the weapons and armor you're after crucible will get boring fast. So will raiding because what's the point? The grind is destiny sadly.
