Guardians bustled around, getting engrams decrypted and cleaning gear. A voice came on over the Tower P.A system: "Would Avesk please report to the Vanguard for debriefing." "I'll be back soon. Don't start any dance parties without me." Avesk said as he jogged towards the Hall of Guardians. "Dance parties?" Validus wondered aloud. / As Avesk entered the hall, all three Vanguard turned to address him. "Congratulations on your elimination of the Rising Archon." Zavala said. "But we called you here to discuss different matters. We wanted to know how you thought the new recruits were handling." "They're doing great." Avesk said, "They respect my status as a veteran and obey orders unquestionably. I think they'll turn out just fine." Zavala nodded thoughtfully. "In that case," he said, "I'm officially christening you as a Fireteam. The name and finer details can be discussed later. Now, for your debriefing..." / "So..." Validus started awkwardly, "I don't think I've properly introduced myself yet. I'm Validus." He shook hands with the Exo. "You are..?" "I'm Thirteen Fifteen." The Exo said. "What? There's no way I'm going to just call you Thirteen Fifteen. That can't be your actual name." Validus said. "Well, when my Ghost woke me up, one of the only things I could remember is that I was designated 'COSMO-1315D' So, I just call myself Thirteen Fifteen." The Exo explained. "I think I'll just call you Cosmo. It's still technically part of your name, right?" "I guess so." "Then Cosmo it is." / "As for your next assignment, we've picked up reports of heavy Fallen activity and signals in the Forgotten Shore in the Cosmodrome. I want you to see what is they're doing, and put a stop to it. Dismissed." Zavala concluded. Avesk returned to the Tower Plaza and informed Validus and Cosmo about their next mission.
