I have finished right now the new raid, TTK. We have suffered a lot but we killed Oryx. I took care to have 30 [b]Moldering Shards[/b] in my items (20 needed) so I had a better prize but... 2 Players who didn't have the enough shards got 2 new weapons. 2 Players who didn't have the enough shards got 1 new weapon. 1 Player who had the enough shards got 2 weapons (1 repeated, the shotgun I had). 20 shards were paid. 1 Player who had the enough shards got 1 weapon. The shards were paid. [b]RESULT: I paid for having the same result. One partner paid for having worse result than other players who didnt paid the shards. [/b] AWFUL. I really [b]suggest everyone not to use the Shards[/b]. Book them until they fix the problem. They are useless. [b]- UPDATE ONE -[/b] Ok. I have killed Oryx three times since I wrote this post. Yesterday once, today (new week) twice. Here is the result. [b]1st TIME (Monday 21st):[/b] I tried the shards again (I gave them another change). I got: · Auto Rifle. · Gun. · Gloves. It was nice, I though it was helpful. In fact, I had the best loot. - - - I began to think, the more shards you offer, the better prize you got. So I planned to store them and give about 80. - - - [b]2nd TIME (Tuesday 22nd):[/b] [b]I didn't try the shards[/b]. I got: · Shotgun (my third one). I have had the worst loot. [b]3rd TIME (Tuesday 22nd):[/b] I planned not to use the shards but I didn't know I had 22 among my items, so [b]the game took me 20 of them[/b]. I got: · Auto Rifle (second one). Nothing more. NOTHING MORE. I have had the worst loot. Actually, one partner who didn't use the shard has obtained two weapons and a Telesto. [b]4th TIME (Thursday 24th):[/b] [b]I didn't try the shards.[/b] I got: · Auto Rifle (third one). I had the worst loot. Nobody used the shards and there were players who got three items. [b]5th TIME (Thuesday 29th):[/b] [b]I didn't try the shards.[/b] I got: · Fourth Horseman (310). [b]6th TIME (Tuesday 29th):[/b] [b]I didn't try the shards.[/b] I got: · Hand canon (second one). [b]7th TIME (Tuesday 29th):[/b] [b]I didn't try the shards.[/b] I got: · Nothing but the two shards. As some people have explained, the 20 shards gives you, at least, one drop. If you have got just one drop and you have given the shards, you would have received nothing if you had not giving them. Today I have seen a couple of helmets (one of them due to the shards). I am, meanwhyle, booking them. I hope bungie explains better their use. - - - - - CONCLUSION: The system doesn't work fine. Perhaps you got a good loot, perhaps you don't. But, in fact, it will take you the shards if you let. So, my advice is: [b]STORE YOUR SHARDS[/b] until Bungie explains or fixes something about them. I think I am wasting them. - - - - - I will keep updating my loot in this post.
