It's been a while, my dear reader. Have you missed us? Do you know of us? Because be it knowingly or not, you've just stumbled into what is widely known as a Supdate. If you would like to know more about the group behind this thread and what Supdates are, please reveal the spoiler below to educate yourself. Things are going to be a little bit different than in the past. Don't worry, I'll be here to guide you through this little adventure.
OUR MISSION
The Seventh Column has a rich history of game nights and community projects stretching back farther than many can recall. While the times have changed, and will always continue to, the Seventh Conflux stands as a vanguard; bringing the Seventh Column's rich culture and traditions into the new times.
The aim is not relive the glory days of past, but to use the foundations of the past to create a new golden age of community. With an ever growing amount of new members the task is daunting, so much is buried under a flood of content, but the opportunity is greater than ever before. Every new member brings something new to the table, and with the experience of grizzled members with past experiences under their belt, there are no limits to what can be accomplished.
The Seventh Conflux is a medium for new ideas to grow and prosper, building on the traditions and the strong sense of community of the old, and bringing them into the present.

THE SEPTAGON SUPDATES
The Septagon Supdate is a monthly posting on bungie.net and reddit's /r/DestinyTheGame which goes over any major community-run events, contests, meet-ups, and more. More than that, it's a way of teaching people who are new to the Septagon, if they so wish, our traditions and history. Bungie's community, known as the Septagon or Seventh Column, is a long-standing entity that predates Halo. In fact, some might argue that the first members of the budding community spawned from Bungie itself. Bungie has always been a studio who wished to make games that they would want to play. A testament to this is just how many people at Bungie were part of the Septagon before joining their ranks. It doesn't matter where you get your community from, be it the heart of the Seventh Column on bungie.net, a Halo clan made of your friends, or even a subreddit consisting of a few hundred thousand gamers. If you want to be a part of the Septagon, that's all you need.
What's Up?
This part of the Supdate is where you'll find some cool things from other groups as well as the overall website. Expect a lot more in this section next month... the Supdate is just starting back up.

A Person of Interest
Each month we'll interview someone who you probably would want to know more about. For instance, were they involved in that local bank robbery last week? You better read on to find out! This months interview was a bit long, so we had to make an entire thread just for it.
Have you ever wondered how far back this community goes? Well, Claude Errera is definitely a beacon of this community who's been a part of it since Bungie games were even on consoles. Check out our interview with him to find out a bit on what he does and who he is!

Looking For a Group?
This is just like the last segment, but with an entire group of people. The group that's showcased in a Supdate is a group that you can join without any second thoughts as to if it's filled with good people. And this months group is none other than... the Party Couch! Read on to see what this group is all about.
Hello! My name is Relyks, and I'm the Founder of the Party Couch. My group was designed by the best furniture store in the business. When the people designed it, it was meant to be welcome to all, with the supernatural feature of expanding whenever one person decided to join up; currently the Party Couch has 176 seats and won't stop there.
Real talk, I do hope that this is how the Couch is viewed by all, especially in the group. The group is specifically and intentionally designed the opposite way how clans work; we are more prone to chatting it up now and play games together along the way.
The Couch really is meant to be open, welcome to all, and a place to sit down and chat, while grabbing an N64 controller to a N64 console that has no player limits. Feel free to at least pay us a visit!
My Mean Man Mechetti
Games are a big part of why most of us joined Bnet; we're gamers. As such, maybe you would want to join up with some chill people to shoot some aliens or something? If so, the game night whizkid(Mechetti) has you in mind.
Hey guys, Mechetti here with your update on everything that happened in the world of Game Nights in the month of May.
As many of you may (not) know, the Seventh Conflux also privately hosts Game Nights from time to time. And by that I mean we've hosted one and plan to host many more. The Seventh Conflux Game Night Hub has recently been updated for the first time in over a year! We will be hosting Game Nights more often and we will be doing more than CoD Zombies in the future. Stay tuned.
For Carnage Apply Within hosted a total of four Game Nights this month, as they have done since November of 2015, when group leader Atom95 made the announcement that FCAW would no longer be hosting Game Nights every Tuesday in this group update.

As mentioned before, The Community Carnage was witness to quite a few in-house changes in the month of May. The Archive of Carnage was updated, the Carnage Megathread was created, and a new Carnage Group Update details the rest of the many changes May brought along. To round off this update we have a word from Community Carnage Admin Seraphim Crypto.
We [the Community Carnage Admins] would like to inform you that Community Carnage is open to everyone! Have a group and want to organize a Game Night? Talk to the Admins and we'll work it out! Check the Carnage Schedule and claim a spot.
And that's all for this month, but keep in mind I'm also always looking, and asking, for help. So, don't be afraid to shoot me a PM if you're interesting in being a part of the currently 1 man Game Night crew. If you're hosting a Game Night and want it featured, just send me a link to the thread and a small description of what the Game Night is going to be all about.
