You must have not had the displeasure of getting booted from CE fireteams for not having one.
Ghorn did make Skolas incredibly easy, though.

I had hunger so it was a decent replacement for awhile. Eventually It got to the point where I was only playing this game for Gally but once I got it i was able to run with the most OP load out. Fate ringer/ black hammer/ Gally. I used VoC a lot as well
