You don't know destiny if you haven't had to grind VoG and Crota every week on NM and HM on 3 characters and ran the nightfall on all 3 for months at a time just for one glorious weapon... Gjallarhorn.

You know how everyone had that one exotic they would always get no matter what? Ghorn was mine. I had it within the first month of the game when everyone still thought an exotic heavy was stupid. By the time Y2 rolled around, I had 10+. Thunderlord, however, was one that I could not get. It would not drop for me.

I got my first one the first week of HoW when everyone wanted you have one for skolas.

You must have not had the displeasure of getting booted from CE fireteams for not having one. Ghorn did make Skolas incredibly easy, though.

I had hunger so it was a decent replacement for awhile. Eventually It got to the point where I was only playing this game for Gally but once I got it i was able to run with the most OP load out. Fate ringer/ black hammer/ Gally. I used VoC a lot as well
